  1. Welcome Who's this wearing a Rolex rep?
  2. Had this wife problem too, she got offended by me getting her a rep. Had to return a Calvin Klein, Ended up getting her favourite watch (after asking her).. a STORM (Cezi model I think). Not expensive at all, but hey that's what she wanted.
  3. Good on ya! Don't get scammed and welcome
  4. Great news, can't wait for pics. Any updates on other dials as well?
  5. Clean dial, neat! Nice with a suit.
  6. Great find ! Thanks
  7. Never being caught wearing a rep (yet) , however I've been "caught" wearing a gen Tag and gotten into a big argument about the gen being a rep and not a gen. My "friend" was convinced it was a rep but didn't have any good arguments . After that episode I thought, what the heck is the point of spending all that money on a gen and people might still think it's a fake (Rolex-syndrome). So now I mainly buy reps
  8. For 15 grand they even toss in a macthing belt! Wonder if someone could do rep of that caseback only Casebacks seems to have a unfiform fit with the reps. I'm sure there's a market for individual casebacks, Any engravers out there?
  9. Hi and welcome
  10. Thought about melted black plastic around the dial edges or a black giant rubber o-ring? Any updates?
  11. Classic pieces, congrats!
  12. Great post The Zigmeister! The urge for perfect is a motivator both for rep makers, dealers and us the end-buyers. Unlike when you buy a gen, you show it off to friends and can't really do anything to it anymore cause it's already perfect and you don't wanna ruin it making it less original. I never wear any of my gen anymore because I got bored with them, but loving wearing a rep because the thrill of getting caught wearing a spotted rep isn't funny, besides it's also an illegal product. Sorry for getting off topic here but what I wanted to say is that if reps wouldn't improve and all be pretty crappy then most watch enthusiasts would rather save up and get a gen.
  13. This thread MUST be pinned in the Humor section
  14. Brilliant, congrats. To be honest if I could choose between a gen PAM90 and yours, I'd choose yours anytime .. for real!
  15. I'll take 2 CG please. Thanks!
  16. Congrats on the new watch, superb review Thanks!
  17. Anybody done it reverse; installing a Josh/Andy dial in a Davidsen case? know it will be a gap there, but how to fix it?
  18. Neat! like the polish
  19. Girard Perregaux are in my humble opinions one of the most classic looking watches you can get, great buy!
  20. Ahh Friday afternoon , then I'll wear my 1930's Helvetia aviator watch. Fluctuates a minute +- a day but that's to expect after 70-80 years of gentle use. From when flying was a bit more rough.
  21. Beautiful watch, it's a different feeling getting a gen than a rep. I bet you'll treasure it like a baby and won't be taking it off for a month ( I didn't, with my first gen Tag). So what you need to do now is just to dissasemble it and take measurements and pictures off it so we all can get better reps off it
