  1. I've counted roughly 22 full sets ordered, that's not bad
  2. Great! Thanks for all tips, will try ordering different colours and see which looks the best and practice on an extra dial I got. If it comes out all bad then I'll have to think about sending it to a pro like The Zigmeister. But I'm hesitating sending any rep stuff including dials to the states because of their customs seem a bit too effective (unlike here in Europe thank god).
  3. Whoot, you don't have a 177H Just kidding, so many excellent PAMs there, WOW
  4. How about contacting one of the dealers, they might help
  5. I'm desperate for better hands for my GMT 63 and previous attempts has been left hanging for a while Think Finepics mentioned something about 400USD for setting the machines http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=14603&st=0
  6. Bump EDIT: Whopsie! Sorry for bumping this. Guess it was too expensive to make these hands and we leave it at that. But if you still decide to go through with these hands Finepics, you got a buyer right here
  7. See "dealer reviews", been myself especially happy w/ Josh, Trusty and Davidsen
  8. You haven't had enough Vodka.. I can see it on your spelling
  9. This is what I'm wearing right now since I've been working on my car and it's the only watch I have that I don't care what happens to it Only bought it because if it's silver datewheel so don't flame me
  10. In my opinion the MF strap and buckle combo 24/24 made my rep look and feel more gen (compared to it's old BOB). However I wasn't happy about all the extra cost shipping and tax smacked me with The MF is thinner than the BOB's for example but no probs with it. Waiting for an HKTan for another project, but heard top things about V's straps. Here's my "MF Tobacco Buffalo leather strap with buckle (white stitch)"
  11. I was a bit concerned about the quality of the engraving but it looks ok Is the lid floppy at all?
  12. Wow that's a beatiful watch there, very nice work. Can I ask why you used the 2824 instead of the 2846 which has a slower beat?
  13. I used a flat jewelers file found on Ebay in a set, also flatened the bottom surfaces of PAM CG with the file in a Swiss army knife, worked equally well. The original surface is pretty rough to begin with.
  14. Thanks for these!! Great find, especially the last one showing the movement!
  15. I agree the 2893 movement rocks over the 2836 (after reading for example The Zigmeisters review of the later). Since I couldn't source a decent 63 GMT w/ 2893 I sent Davidsen a 2893 and begged him on my knees (almost) to fit it in his 63 GMT before shipping it. He's still working on it, and great guy for even doing this. But seeing EL's watch now made the devil in me desire for another PAM :akuma:
  16. Real nice collection there, thanks for showing it. Hmm the GMT is sweet
  17. Thanks for the tips, doesn't seem expensive consider the price of a 2893-2 movement. Sorry fitmic that arktos 92 is way too funky for me but thanks for the tip
  18. Need some objective opinions on Eddie Lee's Power Reserve; http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=16839 I've spent way to far much money on reps lately but this is very very tempting
