check screws on the tabs...sometimes they are too wide in diameter and it flattens out the tabs when screwed in...change screws or rebend the tabs for a perfect fit..

Clark bezel? What's the insert? Awesome work...
-
I get you there... i shouldve left it as is a new insert is on the way with matching pearl...
-
Can this dial hands and bezel insert color combo ever exist in a gen watch? Like a serviced watch with new parts?
-
Here's mine. an mbw 1680 converted to a 5513. All parts are still rep yuki dial and hands josh bracelet and end links all else mbw with minor mods will soon replace the insert and crown/tube to gen soon

Hi guys, Would anyone know where to source good hands for the pam 240? movement is a 7750-silver hands. bent the h factory hand while modding the canon.
-
Hey guys just got this from yuki... what do you think? Comes with hands for eta too. These should fit my 1680mbw case with a 2836 movement?

Hey Highoe, So thats how it works! I held a gen 1680 with this look and made it my model. I guess those lugs were overpolished to the extreme by Rolex service center. Well back to my work bench...
-
Hi Guys, I really like the look of having the rounded ends of sub springbars sticking out a bit from the lugs but I couldnt find any that did. Plus the fact that I kept breaking my 1.3 drillbits didnt make things easier for me too. So I made my own using stainless steel paperclips....Yeah you heard me..its quite embarrasing but its the best I could do given my tools and parts available. Anyway here's what i ended up with. Its an MBW budget build 1680 turned 1530 with Josh's 5513 dial and a crystal from an mbw 1665 If anyone knows where i can get springbars that'll get this effect let me know.

Asked josh bout the updated dial on the heritage but all are out of stock. He says this is no longer made. Anyone here knows a trusted dealer for this...or a source for a good rep dial? This seems the only breitling that I'll have as a keeper. ...keeping my fingers crossed

all can be modified...they are all beautiful watches. my problem with the 240 is the cannon pinion and hands
-
heres my 177 h factory- m series with a modded cg and a 176 with the m cg anf the 177 with a k cg
-
you just have to push it in man...that cg looks ok from that view. heres my h fact

Disaster!! Tried to polish the canon pinion for the 240 and its nickel plated! ended up with a brass colored pinion........the hands on these are easy to deform too... where can i get a canon pinion for this? and hands too...

looks good even from the back...

The Ti is dull but that's what i like about it. I use it for mostly casual attired partnered with distressed straps like gunny's. Thanks for the inputs storm. I'd just like to keep one with the closest cg to the Gen with all things the same.
-
The 176 is a beauty. Maybe I'll just jeep the 176 and 177. Both can share spare parts in the future as these will be keepers. Anything wrong with the 177?

and of course the customary wrist shot......

The Pam Ti's Are one of my favorites to work with. Over the past months, I've had 2 176's, 3 177's, and a 240. my problem is I've decided to keep just one. the 240 is nice with a closed caseback but it doesnt just appeal to me as the manual winds, so this is the first one to go. the 176 and 177--both good watches dont mind keeping any of them. both are on an hfactory case with a noob dial. Modded cg's and flattened pinions. here are the pics: here is the 177 and 176: the 177 is an L series while the 176 is an n- in the end ill just match the hands with the caseback but one thing ill have to decide on is the case and cg-- it seems the 177 is the best for me. Hoping for more knowledgeable Pam gurus to help me out on this. both seem to have the same crystal clarity and hue, dial is from noob, case on the 177 is a bit sharper. CG- 176 cg is the M and N series with a wide gap 177 cg has a narrower opening Need your opinions on this as this will be my reason for choosing for now i'm inclined to keep the 177 any comments will be greatly appreciated folks. in the end these will all be left for my Pam line: trusty 005 and 177 (but this an older photo of the 177 still has the wide cg which i transplanted to the 176) Many thanks guys!!!
