  1. This watch is SICK!! Where did you get that brown dial from? Which version of 1680 is this?
  2. Are you saying it should be OP6567? The one he has is a N Serial OP6727, as noted by the caseback engraving.
  3. It's not my book. It's a book called "Rolex Submariner Story" http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rolex-Submariner-Story-Limited-edition-500-copies-signed-Guido-Mondani-/281018021553#ht_14300wt_1040 http://www.amazon.com/Rolex-Submariner-Story-Franca-Mondani/dp/B0045SVK4I
  4. I love the work you've done on your pam111. if you decide to sell, please PM me. thanks
  5. Oops I made a mistake. BP Dial is a Mark I Dial TC/BK is a Mark V Dial
  6. Also Look at the "Swiss Made" On the BP it spans 2 spaces On the TC it spans 1 space They are def not the same dial.
  7. Look at the fat 9 and 6 o'clock marker on TC and on BP. BP is skinny and long (like Gen), TC is fat and Short.
  8. The thing that gets me is that, the dial is the first thing most eyes go to when looking at a watch. So if there are any glaring imperfections on the dial, it's the first tell. Gen dial is not the only option. BP Ceramic Sub has a near perfect dial for much much cheaper. You just need to source a BP Ceramic 116610 sub dial and change the lume color from blue to green.
  9. Great looking 16610LV. Only tell that it's a rep is the fat 6 / 9 o'clock marker on the dial. Should be a thinner marker.
  10. Apart from the insert, that 16610LV looks gen.
  11. Thank you correct time. I think I will get the ARed gen crystal and tell people I sent it to Rolex to get it serviced and they installed the ARed crystal!! See how smart I am?
  12. Both bk and tc use WM9 dial. The first WM9 16610lv with the green insert has the older dial with thicker metal indices around the hour lume dots. For me this is an instant tell of a rep. Anyone who owns a gen maxi will be able to tell right away. The second one you posted, the TC 16610lv with the black insert has the newer WM9 Maxi dial with thinner metal indices around the hlume dots. I think it's passable unless you have eagle eyes. It's better but not perfect. With the Tc, just install a gen insert and a gen crystal and your 99%

  14. A bit off Topic, but the WM9 Maxi Dials just kills it for me for the 16110LV. The metal around the hour lume indicies are too thick compared to Gen, Plus the 6 oclock Dial maker is too fat.
  15. Would the Gen Ar'ed Crystals be worth it, even if it makes the TC 16610LV less Gen Like? The one I am getting does NOT have the Rehaut engraving, dating it to 2004-2007 and would not have come with an Ar'ed Cyclops
  16. Gen is the best, Found mine here: https://www.rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=37
  17. DOOD you are lucky. I had to pay $50 to get my Outer AR removed because it scratched on my PAM111. Now I have no AR on the outside and Singe AR on the Inside Just like GEN. Be Happy
  18. wow thank you. You guys are Awesome !!! I'm learning so much
  19. Thank you Everyone for your feedback. Yes unfortunately I dont have a PAM111M to compare it to. I did see an article written by Angus on Puretime about the PAM111M, which lead me to the decision to buy one. All your comments are much appreciated.
  20. I couldnt find any posts about this but I just tried to buy a PAM 111M from one of the members here and I got a QC picture of a PAM 111N. Apparently he said it was from Noobfactory Anyone know of any information about the 111N? Is this indeed Noobfactory? I just paid and the watch should be here in 5-7 days. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks
