  5. Here's my twopennorth. I recall last year going into a local AD to ask about the availability of a bracelet for an Oris I own, as I was there anyway I tried on a few of the other Oris models in their range and an Omega smp chrono. THE MOMENT I put my gen smp down on the counter the saleswoman GRABBED it, she didn't ask could she see my watch, which considering I had the good manners to ask to see her goods I found bloody rude. Anyways I would have been mortified if I'd been wearing a rep ( which I wouldn't have done in the first place ) Suffice to say wore a lovely smile for the rest of my time in her store, allowing me to handle any watch she had. No flame from me as the salesperson in the OP's case def needed taken down a peg or too.

  11. I removed the click screw and repositioned the spring but it just won't stay in place, is there a knack to it? Thanks Andy and all for taking the time to read and reply.

  13. Hi all, I have an ETA 6497, recently serviced. It was bought recently and it seems the screw retaining the ratchet click came loose during transit, I tightened it but it still won't stop itself from unwinding. Any help is hugely appreciated.
  14. I sent mine from the UK to the Zigmeister. I had no customs troubles and the relume is perfect! two years old now and still glows like a torch!
  15. Hi all, I bought an Ingy strap from a fellow member, in excellent condition btw! It has the usual thing with the material near the pins needing stuck down. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks all.

I could pay you for the crystal, possibly you could send to Chief at my expense, I can send payment to chief, and he could then have it double A/Red and sent to me. Then my spare crystal can be sent to anyone who needs it! Pm me PLEASE as I think this is a fantastic idea!
