  1. What kind of illegal knives were they? There are only three types I know of totally banned in the UK.
  2. I thought TTK was welcome here as long as he wasn't selling anything?
  3. Fantastic community spirit! Good luck with the wedding T!
  4. Subdial spacing looks good from the pic, who knows? One thing is for sure if the watch arrives to the buyer and it is a fake he can ask paypal for a refund immediately, no lose for the purchaser imo.
  5. Unreal, if Pateks are touted as "perfection" They certainly failed on that one. It would be interesting if anyone was a member of a Patek forum and had the members scrutinize their watches.
  6. Hi all, will a gen datejust dial fit and work with rep day date case? Thanks for reading.
  7. Hopefully the logo can be sorted then I'm in!
  8. "tis very quiet at the moment, time of the year perhaps?
  9. +1 Teejay my friend, nail on the head right there.
  10. I would quite happily personally visit said Tattooist and at length visit upon him my knowledge of your work Teejay Guys I had a design drawn by Teejay quite a while back, artistry in it's most purest form, substance without pretention.
  11. My personal experience has been pretty good so far, mind you I have tended to buy from Andrew mostly and josh once or twice. Most other purchases have been from forum members and the gentlemen I have bought from have been exemplary in their sales. One thing of note, I bought a IWC from a dealer and if the same problem arose with a watch bought from Andrew/Josh it would have been fixed forthwith, not the "sorry you should have expected it" line. Also of note is a Rolex I acquired for a dear friend who has since passed. the watch developed a fault 5 months after my friend received his watch and upon informing Andrew of said fault he advised the watch be returned, six weeks later the watch turned up working as good as new ( same watch as a few scrapes my late friend had acquired along the way were still there) So all in all I say choose your dealer wisely, learn all you can and be prepared for a few bumps. perhaps I've just been a bit lucky.
  12. Just my luck lol, it must be gen
  13. Hi all, can anyone tell me the model or manufacturer of the strap shown on the 3717 on the first page of sd4k's review in this section, the black gloss leather one? Any help is hugely appreciated. Thanks guys!
  14. Personally, I have no prob waiting, especially once my watch receives BK's treatment before shipping. The wait is just part of it and considering the quality I'd rather it was done right than receive a work in progress.
  15. IF, and I still say IF, this guy is pullin a flanker, whats his return? A few hundred Euros? Cheapskate c@nt, pay the bill and sort these guys out ffs.
  16. Thanks SFA, you're a credit across all the forums, and a bloody legend in ia's nuthouse my friend!
  17. The genuine movement installed in these just makes them I want one badly!
  18. Wow, what a panorama! Outstanding work that makes me want to visit Paris even more!
  19. +1 Dani. The only thing I could add, let's say in the case of the up and coming 42mm PO, can they get it right? [censored] if they do they'll sell in their thousands over all the boards, let alone out in the wild. At some point even the dealers must see that if we're willing to have watches shipped over the globe to be "right" then we'll pay a premium if they can do it for us. Verifiably so I may add.
  20. Very easy to swap between rubber and S/Steel. The only ppl I know of in the EU are Domi and Francisco and both come highly recommended.
