  1. This is a great idea, but will only work if you are looking for a dial that fist a 21J movement. The mounting pins on the back of the dial are different between dials meant for 21J and dials made for ETA movements. Andrew and Josh sell the dials alone with both sets of pins attached for $35 shipped. All you have to do is clip off the pins you don't want.
  2. OK...Ask and ye shall receive...Nothing beats a sandy little butt on a secluded Hawaiian beach!
  3. Thanks guys! I have another shot from the same secluded beach trip that I thought about using, but I wasn't sure if using that shot for my avitar would break any rules. Once we figured nobody else was going to be there that day, she decided it might be more fun to run around minus the bikini.
  4. I grew tired of displaying the watches I'm most proud of in my avitar. I decided to switch to another one of my prized possessions. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do! (not literally though )
  5. Nice! I put my WM9 on either that NATO or a black one from time to time, but for me, nothing beats steal.
  6. I agree. Polish the sides. It's coming along nicely!
  7. Much closer than I expected. Great job! Thanks.
  8. I actually replaced my wm9 flat S dial with a noob dial on my wm9 v1 project watch. From the gens I've seen, it is closer to correct than the grayish print on the flat S. But I've also seen variation in gen print color.
  9. I shouldn't laugh, cuz I usually wear a 40mm sub and I'll probably get one of these too, but that IS funny!
  10. Nice! I agree that a little aging would look awesome!
  11. I don't know about gen, but Gary Clark (same guy as Clarks crystal) sells springs that work better than the stock WM9 spring.
  12. I prefer quality AND quantity. I have some alphas and some chronotacs in my watch box sitting right next to some completed 4 digit franken projects some not yet completed projects and several watches in between, including some seikos and casios. Hell, I even have an old Hamilton pocket watch I wear from time to time. There's room for all!
  13. I couldn't agree more. They are not the quality of top shelf reps, but for the money, they are great quality. I have a couple Alpha Newman's and wear them often. They have the Asian manual wind chrono and are very sound mechanically. Thanks to this post, I just bought the same watch pictured above on the bay for $69 + 13 shipping, but it's on a kevlar strap. Can't wait to get it! Thanks justasgood!
  14. I haven't heard anything. I've been half expecting to see something posted by BK, but I haven't seen anything yet.
  15. Thanks Dizz. I thought I had the original WM9 clasp on that bracelet, and it looked pretty good compared to GEN pix I saw, just wanted to make sure others agreed. I know what you say about WM9. I'd love a new caseback for my v1. Mine isn't terribly bad, but I do have a few marks from when my old, crappy opener slipped a couple of times. I have since bought a much better quality opener from offshore and would love to have a fresh caseback. Oh well...
  16. I stand corrected. I forgot that part. WM9 v1 SELs, noob bracelet, WM9 clasp.
  17. I concur. WM9 v1 SELs on noob hollow midlink bracelet
  18. So Bimmer is Canadian for ass? Then I love Bimmers too!
  19. I'm still thinking about the chronomat evolution dial. Do you have a bezel for the same?
