  1. I dunno.. I don't think there are 100's of IWC gen owners in there, more people just putting in their 2 cents..
  2. The funny part is that 90% of those guys won't miss a beat if they were offered a half price franken. They get butthurt on principle but would never throw down for an authentic.
  3. The first one will cost you about $800, and it looks like you found the second one.
  4. Any recommendations for a travel case.
  5. So I might be moving overseas and was wondering the best way of walking through customs with like 30 watches.. Any ideas?
  6. I think the datewheels plus shipping is probably under $100. If you want to the the datewheels, taka AR, and gen crown/tube, you're probably looking at another $300, installation, relume and servicing would probably be another 400-$500.. I think you can come away with a pretty good franken serviced, for about $1000
  7. I was going to get this watch but I dont want to fork out $100+ for the datewheel... Maybe a V6 will come out correct..
  8. Has anyone noticed the greenish lume on the u1's? Anyone end up getting one of these watches relumed? I'm thinking maybe BG W9 perhaps?
  9. Maybe it's a mm thicker if anything? They look so close it's crazy. The crown is definitely a difference, Thank god I have Texski hooking me up.
  10. That's a great watch. I love the thick straps. I'm always caught between having too much tail or not enough. It looks good like this. for these type of straps too much tail sucks, it's nicer to keep it at the bottom of the watch and not coming up on the side I think..
  11. I have one coming for my wife. Depending on the resizing I may have a few for you. I may need them back though if she gets fat...
  12. Seiko is always a good bet. I've worn one two days in a row so far..
  13. What do you think is a rough estimate of what that would cost. I'm thinking it's probably a bit..
  14. How does the caseback screw on the rep case? is it a perfect fit? any threading issues? is it really that noticeable?
  15. Anything other then a G-Shock would be silly. I assume you are going to go to the gym to work out and not try to pick up, so a G-Shock would be it. I bought mine specifically for the gym, or playing sports, or any rough activities. I wouldn't want to waste money on a fancy rep watch that will not keep up to a good beating.
  16. Ok, so now that you have showed off a bit.. Where can I get one?
  17. I don't use them to upload to the forum for people to scan for imaginary issues. I'm sure just like in the real world, when you're a [censored], people are less likely to help you out. I like my main dealer. He has bent over to help me out whereas some dealers I've used have been useless after they get my money.
  18. It's a Breitling Happy Sport now..
  19. There is a guy in Mississauga that is recommended on RWI 7750watches@gmail.com. His name is Victor, send him an email.
  20. It seems that a few dealer do ask that you not post QC pictures, and it's always better to have dealers like you rather than not like you.
  21. Probably not many solutions. I'm sure most watches are designed for certain sized wrists and certain bracelets take this into account.
