Seems too much like a scam to me so I haven't signed up to see the prices and such. Has anyone looked into this before? I was looking for oil charts for the Rlx movements and came upon this. Has anyone tried this
yet?

Let us use ST for the name of the supplier. Please

Hi-jacked again
The HR dial is really, really nice. With a little oven bake time one can darken the lume markers and "kill" the glow. Not doing that just yet. The hands are tad on the long side as they are intended for the bigger case. In a gen like case(gen dimensions/construction) one will need to source different hands. I have some gold Tudor hands from ST coming my way and will compare. The lume is crazy on the HR though. I may when money and time allow build one of those homage watches just to try.

DANG!

On the y3135 gen hands fit dead on. Nothing beats gen hands. Yuki's hands are pretty decent and not expensive.

Pretty much feel the same about the 6263. Cool little video.

I ha a few of these and they do work great.

Updates?

Had to bump this one up. I was having a moment looking at some old posts, and could not help but say, DAMN! such nice pieces and pictures in this thread!

Wearing the Military 6309 turtle.

That dial is amazing!
-
Definitely not a BK case. The movement indent is gen like on this one(larger opening/swoop) in the BK WM9 case is smaller

Will do sir. Will do. Thanks for the picture Nanuq. I almost went too curvy on the profile.

Case reshaping done this week in stages. This in an old MBW case that I built my 7928 on that I ended up "fudging" by trying to use a 703 gen crown on and well, long story short, I chugged it in the tool box for a possible big crown conversion. I need to get a big crown from adrian as his tubes are hefty. This is a Silix type big crown now until I can get the funds/order into Adrian.
I have a HR signed tudor 100m dial coming and should be ok for this case. Matching hands too.
The case IS water proof. Eventually if I can afford it I will get a Phong bezel assembly and t16 crystal and call this done. For now I am enjoying the build as I hate throwing stuff away.
The bezel assembly I got from a fellow member off his 6241 case. The friction is obtained by means of a rubber o-ring. I doubled the o-rings in order to fill the crystal retainer o-ring grove for the modern plexi sub bezel. Still missing a bezel insert, but I am patient.
The case needs more sanding and buffing, but after 5 hours this week, this is what I have.
My old 7924 dial and manual wind movement will be left alone for another build.
- I trimmed the case on the sides by 5.mm and re-profiled the lugs
- Slimmed down the case back as well by the same amount
- Recurved and slimmed the tops of the lugs
- slight bezel under the side of the case
- Beveled and repolished the case back
- Flattened the case back by .5mm

This looks like the explore that was on eBay not too long ago. Great looking watch.
-
instead of filing it all i did was buy a used $10 swatch auto off ebay that comes with this feature in their 2841 movement, removed the keyless and put it on the 2846, sorted!
the seller:
I wonder what the part number is for the date setting lever. Hate to resurrect old posts, but have been looking for the part number for a few days to revive some gen 2846 movements into no date ones.

Cannot wait matey!

Could be that the dial's feet are bent slightly. I always look for the stack centering as well as the date window. Which dial is it?
-
More pictures... this movement is ridiculously sharp!!! Took these last night before packing the watch for its journey to the new owner.

I'm thinking a Project TC sub. . No CGs etc.
Thomas, thank you brother!
Who needs a crystal...
