  1. What case did you use for the 3646 ,and where is the crown from ?
  2. That is a proper way to do it yes!You polish the watch and then you buff out the cod with a microrfiber cloth untill nothing comes out on the cloth. Then again with a clean cloth !After that you can wash it slightly. But i beleive that the the iritation is mostly from the chrome/nickel in the metal of the case, when you apply the cod it brings it up.Nickel is the mostly widely known for doing this! Also an advice never ever use cape cod on a brushed case or titanium it would completly ruin the case's texture.Only on polished cases!
  3. This the year of the Radiomir ,even Panerai has so many models out!
  4. Good to know info !!
  5. Never seen such a detailed review! Great work!
  6. I found this very interesting!
  7. I am not at repgeek but i will take your word for it! To be honest i been searching for a Gen....looks like all Panerai stores have a thing for display casebacks, solidcasebacks version dõnt stock much!Lets wait and see how good this H version will be !!

  10. Hello, I was wondering if there is a good (NOOB quality) pam 240 model made lately ?
  11. Does any one have a destro (left handed) box ? I would like to know the size of the plate inside that says luminor marina / left handed Thanks
  12. I think the fake trade video posted by phoband unswers allot of questions! The think for me is that if you want to build a rep or make a homage for your self is not that bad , trying to fool people and sell it as real is very bad! Same with movements ,you can be honest i mean there are also good well made chinese movements. Allot of western watchmakers by them these day for their watches, they just readjust and calibrate them. China had a watch industry long time ago, they might not have been sleek and precise like the Swiss but they had an industry from were they can grab a few technicians. In some article i read that they were some so called swiss-enese movements. They were chinese eta clones but had eta parts in them. Also in some reps there are gen eta movements but they are from new old stock taken from somewere, some were from Swatch automatic etc. There is nothing wrong with them but they just need to be serviced and oiled because they might be in a box for 10-15 years! I think there is pam 29 version with such a movement out lately.Someone posted a review here.
  13. You whats funny is that today when you wear a real one, everybody asks if it is a fake !LOL! Most times like Dave123 says the originals have harder time to pass as gens. Steel day dates were nit that rare ,maybe in the US market but in Europe they sold several. I always thought them to be entry level versions,my uncle also has one,i thought it was white gold but truned out to be steel, Its a quite old version, didnt have the time to look at the serials to check for refs but he remebers receiving it sometime in the 70's as corporate gift. Maybe they choose there market according to what will sell were. Gold watches dint sell that much as steel in Europe Anyway in any version i dont like this watch much to begin with.It lacks the looks and sharpness of the old 62xx big crowns and the 5513 ! I am not sure these people know if they open a movement if they can tell, they might though.

  21. "come to a guy like me. Don't buy one off the street" so funy!! This guy is hilarius! I also want to coment on that............. Everything is perfect in a rolex?Come on where is this guy from mars? My gen DSSD broke the bracelet clasp while jet sking and falling of to hit the fiber hull and have the bracelt brake into 2 pieces! Nothing is perfect in the watch world unless you get a mil spec watch !!
  22. Like the the destro and MM Dial!!
  23. Watchnuts, I requested one last year it took a looooooong time to arrive so maybe you will get it! Ayway looks like from Paneristi forums that the hotest models for the new yeas is the Radiomir 1940 aka pam 399!
  24. Not a Jerk at all !You are right !Also women wear them! Wich comes to my point, for the price of such a watch they should offer 2 sized straps or the ability to change them at the dealer with the size required with no charge!
  25. I am European and not fat and most people i know that wear pams here pre-order them with 120/80 at least! 115/75 doesnt fit most guys wirsts i know. Concering the quality of the oem straps is another question and opinion! But since you mentioned them. Basicly i find them bad.The new 2012 line has changed contractor with one in Italy ,dont know who, havent seen this yet to judge.Nothing worng with Hirsch but if you look at the aftermarket Hirch straps and compare them to the oned made for panerai its day and night. Also i dont like tampering straps ,all the way one size is the best looking for such watche, perosnal opinion. The straps i Have from my 1993 Pam have been through so much yet they still stand superb! While my pam 88 oem strap faila apart when i accidently fell in a pool once with the leather on!So when ever i get a gen i just put the strap away and look for something better. The initail question was the size because Richmond group chose that! Cheers
