  1. hahaha she was ok with the other ladies but this girl takes the cake-- wifey is a bit insecure with her boobies true, true! Well Hike, you missed THAT shot, ImageShack was quick on removing it.
  2. Thanks! I enjoy these nitpicky critiques when I was frequenting MM forums There's still some improvements to do which a hobbyist photographer like me only realizes after the shoot, like introducing a hairlight for more separation. In photography I always believe in learning by experience. I may have a problem with distinguishing too hot a highlight-- I intentionally want them bright, but not too bright. I calibrated my monitor with Spyder, I may have problems with my eyes
  3. honeybear, is that you? If I'm going to be really anal about it the crown guard has a slight opening at the top, but personally I'll take it
  4. I have only discovered this section in our forums Previous hobby that's been stopped because my other half is getting really jealous with it I've tried all sorts of photography but have never tried model photography. Did some experiments with friends, bought a load of equipment (strobes, light modifiers, triggers) and after 5-6 photoshoots got the hang of it. This one is my last though: Maybe after sometime I'll get back into it after this rep craziness in me-- photography has been a hobby that I keep coming back into
  5. Ditto on this I like how you made this picture "vintage look": Love her expression also! *critique-picky mode on* Right hand thumb is a little bit distracting. The color of the nails make it so. Right feet placement is a little bit awkward for me. Might have more of an impact if you do a tighter crop of the picture. *critique-picky mode off*
  6. I'm really tempted to buy one of these. Very nice with the strap you ordered! Is it me though or the "Flyback" is a little crooked in this pic? EDIT: sorry it's the "Regatta" that I was looking at, not the "Flyback" The reason I'm asking is there's a guy in RWI that posted about the "LUMINOR" in his flyback is tilting. Can't see it in his picture though:
  7. Not really spending hours but I've been going back this thread just staring at this baby. Really nice build, Ubi!
  8. really nice watch, I really love mine shooting @2.8 just makes everything look good!
  9. Definitely! Got the qc pics today from Andrew. Maybe people with small wrists will also take a second look at HBBs if it fits nicely
  10. I agree although it's too big of a monster for me-- other than the helium valve missing I think it's a good rep to not to pass
  11. Nice strap! This beauty needs to have a wrist shot, not a plant shot
  12. That's one kick-ass watch! Very steampunk-like appeal to me
  13. I'll order it now. I still have two watches incoming, but can't satisfy with this f*cking itch to get them all right now hahaha! Thanks again!
  14. F*cking qc pictures tempting me again... The site you brought it was ok? Where are located, calatrava?
  15. Thanks, mate! Seems barely doable... I think. This is my bare wrist shot: if I wear it inside the sleeves I guess it's fine?
  16. Monsters are about 45mm right? I guess it's ok I would appreciate it! The PAMs are the biggest watch I've tried so it's my new point of reference
  17. no one really has a Hublot and a PAM here? Is there no love of Hublot among PAM fans? The Ultimate BB v6 is out already and I want to buy it, if I can manage to pull it off
  18. nice rads! is the other accessory the big-ass knife lying around? compliments the other accessory very well. Can't help but check your background. Dual monitor setup (or maybe more) is either you're a gamer, programmer or because of the knife, from a security firm
  19. most popular introduction thread ever! LOL
  20. welcome, Melissa! just dig in, read and ask-- you'll be fine Cheers!
  21. very classy collection! I can't imagine your morning deciding what to wear in the office No sporty/rugged watches?
  22. You're producing hard light making unnecessary shadows and loose detail. Try shooting in ambient lighting
