  1. Lol you guys are hilarious, I'm pretty sure he meant that he's happy the site is back up and running after being down
  2. Your straps make me want to buy the watch just so I can have your strap, if that makes sense.
  3. Tried using a loop as a macro tool, it works! Held it up to my iPhones camera, I'm really shocked at the results.
  4. I'm somewhat of a baseball fan and was just as surprised by the big toronto/Miami trade announcement as the next guy but after reading this article I'm left wondering how this can go on?! I'm a montrealer and lived through losing our baseball team, I knew that these clowns had a part in it but really never knew the whole story until now. What a shame. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/marlins-trade-a-baseball-tragedy-bud-selig-deserves-blame.html

    1675 help

I couldn't do it, I know what it is and wanted it pretty bad but I'm taking this collecting thing pretty seriously and I can't see rolex changing the movement for a more recent one, it makes no sense. The seller is asking 8200$ us shipped from Italy. I rather wait for one that is all original and pay a bit more. I love that the market is soft right now, I'm trying to scoop up as much as I can before the prices hit the roof again. Thanks for your input guys
  6. Very accurate rep. ESP since nobody has any reference to compare it to as most people have never seen a patek before. As long as you don't take it off because of the expo back. Now with better lume it will be even better. Yes you can put it on a leather strap.

    1675 help

Hey guys, I did some research and found that a 1960 1675 should have a 1560 or 1565 movement with butterfly rotor. The one for sale has a 1570 movement which shouldn't be in that model until later. Would rolex have changed it during a servicing for a 1570? Is there any way this is the correct movement?
  8. Great!! If the lume is nice ill be buying one.

  10. Just received my blancpain (from jag) back from the watchsmith. I wanted to remove the jubilee band that was stuck on but I couldn't do it. I like having the freedom to swap bands on a whim So here's the result, I found an old bulova rice bead band and it fit perfectly. Just wanted to share my joy and thank jag again for what is turning out to be my fav rep of all time
  11. Oh my! What a story, 300 euros! I'd camp out on the lawn for a month
  12. My humble little collection of one. I had to sell the only other gen I had to get this but I think it was worth it. 1958 5508 gilt
