  1. even the gen is not so nice, you want a decent rep is similar style look for pp twenty-four

It sounds like the OP might not be so high in the social ladder to make a Patek Philippe look believable. This is nothing to be shameful about, as few actually are. The Twenty-Four reps are also fairly poor.

I recommend a Muller Conquistador. But that's my answer to every thread about ladies watches really...

  2. btw, i just saw the patek world time. that one actually looks pretty good. does anybody have know if any of our dealers sell that same watch?

Narikaa can get that watch. Trust me, it's a rubbish watch. Ridiculously expensive, and missing the 10:00 button of the genuine - the case back is also see-thru revealing a completely incorrect movement.

  3. I have a few... here they are as a "top three" count-down:

    #3: Patek Philippe Nautilus Jumbo

    dsc09009aj7.jpg

    +Perfect dimensions to genuine.

+Incredible high-quality construction, up to the standards of high-end swiss brands.

+Beautiful light reflection capability just like real.

    +Bracelet identical to genuine

    +All pieces "fit" together well.

-Date is shifted too far left (both in terms of the aperture itself and the wheel, font) (looks good 1-19, but horrible 20-31. Anyone else get this?)

-Face has some inconsistencies with genuine model.

    -Rubbish Lume

-The clasp is very hard to pull open when closed, you have to fight with it to literally pry it open.

    -Power reserve of just 28hrs.

-12:00 hour markers are kinda wonky and the white substance is overflowing.

-Crown looks retarded if you've ever seen the gen.

    #2: Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph.

    dsc05363to2.jpg

    +Great lume

    +Accurate case, bracelet, and dimensions.

    +Near-perfect face

    +Realistically heavy weight.

+Runs perfect - just like swiss.

    +Clasp opens very easily.

    -Poor date font.

-Clasp closes only after several attempts, divers extension always pops out when opened.

#1: Breitling Chronomat Evolution Chronograph, with "haute joallerie" bezel

    dsc09363oh7.jpg

    +Perfect face

+Clasp opens and closes with absolutely no effort - just like real.

    +Bracelet looks perfect to genuine.

+Reflects light better than any watch I've handled.

+Time-telling is perfect, if it is too fast or too slow then I certainly won't even know about it.

+Date font is thick, and centered proper.

+Bezel diamonds are realistic to genuine.

+Anti-Reflective Coating makes the watch feel truly genuine.

    +All dimensions perfect

    +Fantastic lume

+Super heavy weight- quality expensive feel.

-Date font is decent from 1-19, but looks really good from 20-31.

-4:00 hour marker is wonky, with the bottom portion cut crooked. Unnoticeable except under very close scrutiny.

  4. If someone had told me the BCE was this good of a watch I surely would never have waiting so long to pick one up! Over a month it's been on my wrist - I even tried to flip it for my MBK Nautilus, but after just one day I had to put it back on! This watch is un-take-off-able!

    pen = gen

  5. It is very accurate to the gen, but have to confess I don't like it much.

Not really. You have to look carefully to see the (huge) inconsistencies. For starters, the chrono is only half the duration of the original!

One thing to give "props" on to the manufacturer is that this is the first manual wind (Sea-Gull ST19) replica with correct subdial spacing. I also suspect that it's enormous size will cause the running seconds hand to be very jittery - especially the running chrono module. I was thinking on getting this watch but, it being a highly exclusive and rare brand, coupled with the fact the watch is a very rare special edition - those who are in the "know" would surely recognize it as rep.

  6. Although I do not think I have ever seen

a selection like the one at the Torneau

store in the Aventura Mall. Literally

    thousands of watches,

That sounds marvelous, I guess one could spent a whole afternoon browsing the watches. As somebody who comes from a tiny village (Ottawa, Canada), I can't even begin to imagine the scope of some major retailers like this. When you go on, do employees sort of walk you through what you want to see or is the store divided into manufacturer blocks with each section containing its own individual expert to help you make your pick? If it is the former, then I imagine people who work there must be extremely well trained to know the details of so many pieces.

  7. $10,000 for a big bang.... I don't know who the hell would do that; maybe a crazy person? Even I decided against paying $400 for the rose gold rep version. It's just a fad watch that got some attention because it somehow slipped through the cracks and some drunken judges at Basel awarded it with a prize - maybe in an effort to be comically ironic.

  8. Reliability is hit-or-miss. You could have one that runs for decades or one that runs for two months. Also, spare parts for genuine ETA products (especially popular movements) are very readily available while clones (especially chinese ones) are almost impossible to repair locally...

In my opinion if you have the option of getting an ETA placed into your watch as opposed to a clone, get a genuine ETA - but make sure it's a genuine article (and appropriately priced for its condition; that means not a surplus or refurbished model.) So if you're buying from China always go for the cheaper option in my opinion..... honesty does not seem to be plentiful with many manufacturers and distributors over there (although many are genuinely reputable businesses)
