  1. yes i always push the "funny" button when somebody makes a stupid sale request.

but it is NOT wrong for them to do it. I can take a poop in a jar and sell it for $10,000 if I want... as long as the description contains no lies then you can't really do anything about it except, like you said, warn gullible customers of being defrauded. It is unethical, but not illegal.

  2. I can't say I'm really jealous... but, Narikaa has a gorgeous Breguet tourbillon that he's been really quiet about - words cannot describe the beauty of this timepiece.

I am also really REALLY jealous of all the people who posted in the "show me your gens" thread; especially the one fellow with a genuine Patek Philippe Nautilus chronograph!!

  3. Amen to those words. If im buying a replica it better be the closest posible to the GEN.

I disagree. No matter how much you pay an "out of box" rep will always have some flaw - some nagging "tell" that will gnaw away at your deep subconscious until you go mental. Also, $1280 for a generic, Chinese, copy chronograph movement with notorious unreliability is a little bit crazy. However, I have seen the video of the HBB Rose Gold Tuiga etc, and if it were $500, I would consider it - but for what you paid you could have bought a seriously nice pre-owned gen from a luxury swiss manufacturer OR even a very accurate modded MBK or affordable superrep. I buy reps not based on how accurate they are to the original, but how much I like them overall!

  4. This is actually a huge problem that I have, because I have a job with extremely little mobility. On many days I am just forced to wear my tourbillon because anything else just won't hold power reserve as I sit on the computer or read.

I only really have a chance to wear my automatics when I'm going somewhere... which is about twice a week....

  5. Someone at work goes "that must be fake" when I wore my MBK Sub TT one day. The watch has been modded with a gen dial and insert and the bracelet upgraded so he was just being a smarta$$. He wouldn't know a fake if I smacked him with it. Needless to say I take the watch off hand it to him and state the truth that it is indeed a replica watch. After careful examination, he proceeds to argue with me that it is real and I must make way more money than him. (I'm sure I do, he's a moron) Now he bugs me everyday about "hooking him up". I sent him to globalreplica.com

God I know... some people eh

I once had some jealous a$$hat purposefully spill wine over my TT sub during a reception for god knows what reason... and then he smiled after... maybe he was testing the waterproofness?

  6. just say something like:

"sure... 5$ on the china town street corner from my good buddy ping-pong...." (shakes head and/or rolls eyes) ...the action at the end is very important..

I only had to use this line once and it was on a friend of mine who just asked jokingly... we see each other almost every other day and when you rotate 10x $20,000+ watches things start to get a little suspicious....

...but if anyone ever asked me seriously it would depend on the circumstance and person. I have a talent of finding and exploiting people's weaknesses and defects.

  7. pm sended

...i just read your post over more precisely and it looks like you're not going to find a MOVADO FIERO on joshua's site but, i am certain narikaa can get it - he is leaving on the 14th of april approximately so just ask him that you want that watch over private message and hell pick up for you...... not tough at all....

  8. if you just want a reliable dealer and a good watch go to joshua's site.. ive had great luck with and most of my pieces are from there.

if you want a reliable watch from an excellent dealer instant message narikaa with a request...

  9. Wow, that looks like good times! I have always wondered if the waiters are thinking "Who are these watch nerds" or "Damn, check out all these awesome watches!"

I was thinking the same thing... other patrons must have assumed it was some kind of millionaire's convention going on...

I can't say for everyone here, but I tend to believe that most rep buyers tend to dress flashy, and drive flashy too...

  10. I love the look of the watch pictured, but I'm worried that the stones will absolutely scream 'fake'.

Unless you are an eccentric oil tycoon with a big cowboy hat and a rolls royce to match that rolex nobody, and I mean nobody, will believe it is real. Not to mention it is stainless steel and genuine day-dates come only in precious metals - and a model like this would be platinum for sure. Buying a watch like this is absolutely asinine.

I can't comment on the overall quality of the CZ but I think when you are attaching them to a Rolex you should go for the 'less is more' approach instead of the other way around.
