  1. Big boy Skyland for Monday.
  2. Yes. I wasn't aware of that when I posted my reply. RIP. And my condolences to his friends and family.
  3. Generally speaking... why should the dealer be in a position to ask ANYTHING, after he has charged 300+ Dollars for a Chinese counterfeit knockoff?
  4. We have '01 Golf and 2010 Mercedes E. I also have E39 525i BMW.
  5. PWC is a proven moron. See here: http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=945
  6. Only one that I regret selling. I had a BTR in perfect condition & perfectly fitting SELs. Amazing rep.
  7. My Bond Seamaster for Christmas. Merry Christmas to RWG!
  8. Yeah, amazing that examples like that can be found. Just like this one. 12K miles, from a MLB pitcher (1st owner). Drool! http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/928-forum/671784-my-new-1990-928-gt.html
  9. This is more like it. (Check the pictures slideshow... and the price). http://www.ecarlist....8/photos/868490 http://cgi.ebay.com/...id=260873707213
  10. Have you ever seen an uglier Porsche? And have you ever seen a great classic trashed like this? Merry Christmas!
  11. Morning RWG. Preparing for the Christmas with my family and wearing my favorite Rolex.
  12. I have only one Rolex rep left. The one that remains. Wearing it right now.
  13. Doesn't look all that bad, really. Since the Noob version is no longer available, that might be a reasonable option. It's quite pricey though... considering it has an Asian movement.
  14. Nice Fish(es)! Wearing my favorite Aquaracer today.
  15. I was a Star Wars fan before George Lucas destroyed my childhood heroes with his classless, embarrassing and totally LAME new trilogy... or should I say "computerized Muppet Show".
  16. USA Lake Placid 1980 is still probably the biggest upset in the sports history. I remember that very game... I was watching it live. I was 8 years old, it was amazing.
  17. Yes indeed. They were amazing. Two "supertroikas": Vasiljev-Bilyaledtinov Harlamov-Petrov-Mihailov and after them: Kasatonov-Fetisov Larionov-Makarov-Krutov
  18. Yeah... actually my post was a bit against this forum principles. I didn't want to talk any politics or create any controversy... and I have nothing against Russian people. What happened in the past, stays in the past. But history is history... you can't rewrite it. This is just an amazing stat, and both my late grandfathers were in that war. They were tough as nails and my role models. And besides, 6th of Dec was our independence day so I felt a bit patriotic. Without those veterans I wouldn't live in a nice house today... or drive a Merc or wear a genuine Rolex watch.
  19. It was really "quality vs. quantity" http://listverse.com/2009/11/13/top-10-snipers-in-history/
  20. Yep. Check this photo and see the recess. The SELs are "inside" the lugs on the gen. All reps have SELs that are on par with the lugs (plus they never fit properly). Small things, small things...
  21. Biggest issue is on the rep is the bracelet SELs. Gen SELs are recessed and match perfectly with the lugs. (Robbies great shot) The black rep original "Swiss" version is pretty good. But the gen is still in the league of its own. Gen is a great purchase. It's not even expensive for what it offers.
  22. You guys should come to Scandinavia. I've seen plenty of nice watches in the past years, and 95% of them have been gen. All Rolexes that I've seen from closer range have been gen. Imagine that.
  23. Nice AP Chief! I'm wearing my good old Ebel today.
