  1. What's the sellers price for this one?
  2. You guys are correct... that looks much nicer than the Trusty model that I linked (from a quick look). Looks like a different model from another factory. Experts chime in...
  3. Keep in mind that small watches are extremely tough to sell these days (even the complete packages). Just ask any preowned reseller and they'll all say the same thing. Not just Rolex... same thing with vintage small Omegas, Ebels, Breitlings, Heuers, etc. etc. it's Christmas for small watch lovers... great watches for great prices. Freddy might be correct with this value estimation... in PRINCIPLE. But getting $2.3K for a Precision in the watch forum sales section is simply impossible... especially when you can get a good Explorer II for under $3K. Realistic market value for Precision is much lower, imho. PS: I've seen the mocked ones going for $700 - $800 at TZ. With a quick search I found this for $1080. Of course you're right... the condition is always compromised with these, but it's still the same small watch which most WIS types simply don't want. That is your advantage as a buyer... don't pay too much.
  4. Is it really that much Freddy? I'm not an expert of any kind but I think I've seen these Precisions go for bit over a grand.
  5. As I said in another thread... 2 years ago I wouldn't even have thought about SA... always thought the size is just ridiculous. But now I'm looking them with "that" eye. Great looking watch and GREAT SHOTS Wimpie, enjoy! PS: How's the Pro2 bracelet on this one... how does it compare to Skyland (quality wise)? Deniz has both, right?
  6. Nice work on hiding the bad datefont.
  7. This proves that terrible pictures can make a good watch look cheap and awful. Yes, it looks gen to me but those pictures are so awful that it's impossible to tell for sure. And I own the gen. PS: How someone even take pics that bad, without trying really hard?
  8. Good morning! Wearing my beloved Pepsi GMT.
  9. The new SuperOcean is definitely an improvement over the old one. I never liked this model one bit. However this has nothing on the XL Steelfish, which is still the king of diver watches for me. But if they rep the blue version correctly I might be interested. I'm saying this because it will never happen. There has never been an accurate blue dial replica yet. The new SO is "only" 42mm so it might be popular among the guys who prefer a bit more conservative watch sizes.
  10. No... we can definitely have a new one! No they never repped that Zenith. Not so many Zenith reps unfortunately.
  11. Good choices. We had a thread like this back in 2008. You can see it here. My list has remained the same. + 42mm "Ultimate" PO with 2XAR. Nothing less will suffice.
  12. Pretty. I agree, the new bigger DJ is very nice. I like anything 40mm+ but 36mm is simply too small by today's standards.
  13. I guess this deserves a new thread. Andrew's sales link. Logo seems to look weird and I heard it doesn't have bezel lock. More thoughts? Keep 'em coming!
  14. Updated with B01 info. Please let me know if something is missing.
  15. You mean those Diamondcastle ones? There are people who replace their dials with aftermarket ones. Diamonds and all that... so they're just seling the spares.
  16. I removed the phone number. Do not post anyone's personal details puclicly. I guess this thread has run its course. Closed.
  17. @jjenk: That's a nice yellow Avenger! I'm wearing this blue beauty.
  18. I like it too. The dial is less busy than the regular Navi. Very elegant. I finally realized why I'm not too crazy about BCE and Navitimer... I don't wear straps and I'm not a big fan of the Breitling Pilot bracelet (isn't that what they call it). I prefer the Pro2 on Breits.
  19. Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Calling person a "poser" and fabricating a deep psychological profile of someone because he wears certain kind of watch is kinda stupid. I mean, I'm a watch enthusiast but at the end of the day it's still a friggin' wristwatch. Nothing more. I think the poor jealous bastard who wrote that lives in a trailer park and simply can't afford one.
  20. I drive a Mercedes E-klasse, it's not mine but my stepfather's company car. It's amazing how many Toyota and Mazda owners feel like they have to tell me how "crappy car Mercedes makes these days." I'm not interested in cars that much. I used to be, but these new cars are just sterile and uninspiring... I'd love an original Audi Quattro or a Porsche 928 but that's another story. But I gotta say that Mercedes has always worked perfectly for me. And just like Rolex it has something that Toyota and Mazda will never have (no matter how good cars they are). But I gotta admit it's a bit boring.
  21. Strange... I don't think Skyland rep needs a gen dial that desperately. If you have a good example the lume dot problem is almost impossible to see with a naked eye. Not a big issue, at least not for me. Steelfish "guilloche" (spell?) is what makes a huge difference. Skyland dial isn't that exciting, really.
  22. Wow what a beauty! I'm wearing this massive steel bling today.
