Thanks man. I reviewed the BCE and Skyland just recently, check my section. I'd love to get something new and write the reviews but I really don't know what... I've had them all, seen 'em all... maybe a IWC for a change? I also have my eye on Ebel BTR and TAG Link Chrono gens... the new Link chrono with 2XAR and display caseback impressed me, saw it on AD just recently... or maybe a 1675...

Thanks man. My balcony is pretty good "light tent". Actually this is very easy watch to shoot as the gen AR is über-effective. There isn't even the typical "AR hue", it just looks like the crystal isn't there at all.

GMT IIc did nothing for me. I don't see the appeal... I love the classic Pepsi only, but if you like the watch go for the "Ultimate" Noobfactory version, it's pretty good rep.

I'm bored with the studio setup shots... but I love wrist shots... and this watch is so dang perfect in every way, can't get enough of it. One more of the gen Fish. Enjoy!

I think you're more than fine with v3... I don't think those differences are that important. But then I'm not a hardcore Sub man like my friends Tribal and watcher. The SELs just bother me on the WM9 Subs. That's why sourcing the good SELs is the important mod, imho.

This deserves a bump. I love the dial. Is Crosswind case smaller than BCE? Is the all stainless version always brushed? I found this pic and it looks awesome. Frankly, this is much nicer than the BCE because the case is brushed.

The dial print quality is exceptionally good on that Dude. I wonder how difficult it would be to brush the case & bracelet. If they ever come up with a super rep of this, I'll be all over it.

That's a stunner Navichief, I love it! I used to own the earliest version of the rep Serie Speciale. The problem is that Serie Speciale versions should be all brushed, and the reps came with polished cases and bracelets. I don't know how they are now though. Gen. It's my favorite Navitimer hands down... I love the brushed version.

There's a good thing about being sick: You have more time to be a ultimate watch geek and polish & obsess over your pieces. @red: Get v2 and try to source the v1 SELs. That's the best thinkable combo. @ubi: Don't you miss your ultimate flat S v1? I loved it. I actually wish that I had kept my v1 and have both dial combos.

Thanks Red. I think correct looking SELs are much more important than say, pearl. I have a gen pearl & insert for mine but I haven't installed it yet. WM9 v2 is just

v1 WM9 bracelet is the best they ever made. The recess is correct, the SEL perfectly shaped and the fit is perfect. You gotta live with the solid middle links on the last 4 pieces but I'd be willing to make that sacrifice. My last links are hollow (thanks to a mod by a friend). What do you think?

I doubt there's nothing illegal in that. I've heard that these are replacement dials. Some weird people just want to ruin their fine watches with pimp-like diamond dials. SA is the extreme flashy bling Breit so I guess the diamonds go along with it (kinda).

I think I'll pass on this one guys. Maybe a nice franken comes up in EU one day. And to fulfill my Breit Chrono appetite I aways have my Skyland v2 with excellent lume dots... that rep is nothing short of amazing. BCEs are very nice reps but not quite up to par with the Skyland v2, imho. Thanks muchos... very informative thread.

Thanks for the pics frankpower. Damn... yeah that pearl is very apparent. Amazing that they let out something like that. Otherwise, it's a nice looking watch for sure... But no worries, PT says there is a v3 version of this. Should be better.

I wonder what's (supposedly) wrong with v4 compared to v2/v3? Is the general build cheaper? Just look at the lume tabs on that white franken posted earlier... the rep v2/v3 sticks aren't even remotely as nice. As I said, I handled the gen BCE just a while back... those sticks stood out immediately. Gen sticks are superbly finished & smooth. This kind of numeral dial seems to be much better option to me.

I wasn't talking about street junk. I got my first rep in 1986 or 1987... can't remember. That was a joke & cheap garbage back then and it's cheap garbage now. I still have the corpse. May it rest in pieces.
