  1. Hey....you never know! I'm still waiting for my Double Red and a Classic Sub!..........for over a year now......... one of these days! I just wish I bumped into him in Pattaya last month!
  2. I hate you, man! Now I have to get this watch! Grrrrrrrrrr!
  3. He's still in Pattaya buried in the Sand! If Im not mistaken, I saw his Bust in one of the streets there! He's also selling trinkets and grilled squid on the side.........and Grade C Asian knock-offs!
  4. Thanks Dude! I have to give it a mini vacation....hehehe! Hi Arrow! Depends where your coming from, but the major expense portion of the trip is the airfare.......from US Midwest, about $1200-$1600! Cheaper from the west coast! In the Philippines, Flts from Island to Island is about $50 round trip! Most Islands I've been to are just an hour boat (outriggers)ride away. They cost about $25/person for a whole day of service. Most of the cost is for diving....about $10/dive....cheaper if you buy like a 10 dive package which is about $75! The cost of lodging depends on how comfy you wanna be......if your the backpacker type, $15-$20! $50 will get a nice room with private bath, AC and sometimes free breakfast....depends on where you are and how much gaijin (tourist) flock in the area! Entertainment is cheap, and sometimes free if you get lucky (if you know what mean!), enough said! For 5 weeks in the Phillipines, I only spent around $6000 including my airfare (upgraded to busines with United Mileage Plus - you have to fly business for these long haul flights!). Hope that helps! PM me if you need more details~! O, I forgot about the beach.........truly grea and awesomet! Clean and most of them are secluded accessible only by boat! Thanks & your welcome! jsut make sure you water seal them! Thanks! Hi DuDro! Thanks! for underwater, I used the Olympus Stylus 1030SW! And the rest, Nikon DSLR D90.....best there is in this price range ($900-1200!) IMHO~!
  5. Speak for yourself! Obviously you don't know the experts here! And please don't insult them! Servicing these Asian movements don't make them into Gens, but at least in performance, they are close after the servicing! I wonder if you actually have your rep watch serviced! I have and I could vouched for their performance~!
  6. The Zigmeister is your Choice if you wanna stay inside Canada, otherwise, Vacume is our US version of The Zigmeister! I dont see any problem shipping across the border! Plus your watch will get a badly needed Vit D!!!! Florida Sunshine!
  7. Only if the watch you like is in that configuration! AP ROOS are not....that's why the sec@12~!
  8. Check this out Amigo: http://www.rwg.cc/members/ROO-Lovers-update-S-t92633.html
  9. Hi J! Did you leave? It's good that you have your own storefront now! Welcome and good luck, you're one of the best! F
  10. As usual, excellent report from the ZiggMiester! Thanks RG! Based on my experience with my AP ROO Safari, having worn it for more than six weeks in the worst conditions you could think of, I for one is impressed with the quality of this watch and the movement inside! As I have stated before, it only gained about a minute and a-half since I put it on, and for me, that's good enough! I have to give it a rest pretty soon and wear something else! Bravo!
  11. Vacation is over - now back to the Cold, Snowy and Windy place called home! These pictures where taken mostly in several Islands in the Philippines in the vicinity or area called Palawan. Beautiful place and I think much better and cleaner compared to some parts or coastal towns of Thailand! This area is called the Last Frontier of the Philippines. We dove in several areas, some are coral reefs and some are Japanese Ship wrecks! We also dove in two inland lakes where sea water meets fresh water thru a big whole in the mountain. The underwater pictures were taken around 10 to 35ft depth due to the limitation of my camera. One thing about the watch, this is the only watch I brought...which means I wore it for six weeks straight! Very impressive performance! It gained about a minute and a half and just keep on ticking after all the sand, salt water, sweat, alcohol (oooops, I think that was me!) humidity it encountered during the trip! Enjoy the pictures: One of the beach where we hang out before the dive: One dive location: Dive pictures in this area: 1st Fresh water lake: Dive pictures in this area: 2nd Fresh water lake (you have to go under this rock formation from the seaside to go to the lake side): Dive pictures in this area: On the way back: And some more: Thanks for looking!
  12. The Global Crises must have hit the Chinese worst than anywhere else! WOW
  13. Wow TJ!!! Finally! You did it Amigo! Mucho Congratulations ! You both look dashing and ready to conquer the world! I wish you both the best.............Now hurry up and have one to wear a Mini-Fiddy! Cheers my friend!
  14. Wow! I just got back from a long vacation and this is what I read the first day......I'm so sorry to hear about your problems....but looking at your member # and no. of post I would think that you have done your research here at RWG........"NEVER ORDER YOUR WATCH FROM THE DEALERS WITH SERVICE AND WATERPROOFING!" It's a waste of money! You should return this watch.....sounds like you're getting the typical run around! If this is the 1:1 model for $500 or so, it should not have these issues! Good luck!
  15. Two more weeks with this baby:
  16. Hey Amigo! Congrats! FinallyOver, hah! Enjoy the Honeymoon! And congrats to the Missus, too! I'll drink a shot for you both!
  17. How's the dial color compared to the gen (pumpkin??)? How close? Thanks?
  18. Thanks Mates! I'll post some more pictures when I get a chance!
