how did you go to work? did you first remove the hour wheel? or did you try to press the cannon pinion without removing the hour wheel? What did you use to press the canon pinion ?

You are right speedy. The davidsen crystal is 35.5mm and the inner diameter of the jimmyfzu bezel is 35.93mm, I measured it with a digital caliper. The parts dont mate. Jimmy's parts are dead in replacent parts for OEM pannies, davidsen parts are dead in replacement parts for REP Pannies, and REP Pannies are a few tenth of milimeters of OEM specs. The davidsen crystal is too small for the jimmy bezel and case, a damn shame this would have been a match made in heaven... so close buy yet so far... I have added a pic of the bezel placed upsidedown on the davidsen crystal too illustrate the loose fit off the bezel and crystal, if all was right this would not have been possible, the bezel and crystal would have needed to be pressed to fit.. The only long shot I can imagine is to see if I can get a davidsen bezel to fit the jimmy case?

I have read that PAM hands can be lifted of the cannon pinion without damage by using a very flat (1.4 mm) screw driver tip. (be sure to tape off the screwdriver tip to prevent damage)

Status quo ~ Self brushhed jimmyfzu CG. (used a dish washing sponge with the green scrubbing layer for brushing) ~ Shortend lever to fit PALP 2..1 mm CG. (grinded with dremel, filed and polished the sharp edges on the area that was worked on) ~ Fitted to jimmyfzu PAM case. Still to do. ~ The CG pin needs to be pushed in further like the gen, I think I will need a wooden tooth pic for this so I do'nt scratch the pin, do'nt have one at the moment. I want the pin to sit just bellow flush like the gen (see picture of gen CG) ~ Have my davidsen saphire/AR crystal pressed into jimmyfzu bezel. (watch guy) ~ Fit bezel and crystal to case. (watch guy) ~ Relume of 111h dial by finepics (Still waiting for my Swiss 111h to arive from PT). ~ Replace cannon pin and hour wheel with 2.15/3.15(have one in stock / thanks to a very kind rwg member, you know who you are / please do'nt PM me for a longe cannon pinion, neither him or me have any extra to spare ) ~ Have dial fit. I think there service specificly for online businesses, that makes consumer to business cc payments possible and easy for the consumer. I dont think the service is aimed at user to user payments like possible with paypal.

I am not a ralex fan, but i think these (franken watch) projects are so damn cool... sourcing the parts from high and low, the creativity, patients, care and craftsmanship it takes to put one of these babies together... smashing.. keep us up2date...

Its just a marketing trick comparable to almost any other commercial... Buy our toothpaste and you will have wonderful shiny teeth and all the girls will like you and want to kiss you (some happy slick dude with an excellent pair of choppers flashes the screen, with some gorgeous babe hanging around his neck)... Don't buy our product and your breath will stink and nobody will want to be your around you... Buy a genuine Ralex and everyone will admire you.. Buy replica's and you are a support terror... After 9/11 what is more fearful and revolting then to be supporter of terror ... It's the same marketing trick, as in the first example... The are just trying to condition you to associate major terror, pain and other revolting emotions to buying reps and major pleasure in to buy there massively overpriced product. This has worked for years and it will work for many years to come... But don't fall in to this trap... Its just excellent marketing

In need of some pointers... Just recieved my pam case from jimmyfzu. Marvelous 1:1 quality... It comes with the crown tube loose How do you press the crown tube into the crown tube hole in the case? Do you need any special tools or techniques for this?

Try your/another dealer. Otherwise you can try to get OEM screws from the panerai service center in new york.

Great work, great results, how did you de-install the hands? I was working on a PAM111 this week, but scratched the hand using a burgeon hand remover tool. Had to buy some replacement hands from davidsen... Got any tips how to remove PAM hands without damaging them?

I would love to see some pics of your watches... Do you have a davidsen 005 or the 005 that our dealers stock. I am working on a project PAM myself, but I am not sure if a davidsen crystal will fit the non davidsen PAM Luminor cases.

Anyone know if the davidsen 6497-2 canon (3.15mm) pinion and hour wheel is interchangeable with the Swiss 6497-1 PS: If anyone has got a spare long canon pinion (3.15) and hour wheel (2.15) for sale please let me know.

Hi guys , What is the best tool for removing PAM hands in particular. The PAM Luminor Marina hands and dial look quite delicate and easy to damage.. I am planning to install a Davidsen dial in one off my pannies.. and want to do it myself... Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can purchase the best tool for the job? Thanks...
