  1. Hi guys, There seems to be a few versions for chronopassion around, any thoughts on this? I personally like to buy one from Andew however I don't know which version he currently stocks. http://www.puretimewatch.com/category_search/?search_with_change_category_ability=1&categoryID=3&search_name=passion&search_price_from=&search_price_to=&search_in_subcategory=1&advanced_search_in_category=Find Cheers
  2. Hunt for one at Paneristi.com they come up all the time mate.
  3. Any explanation on why is better? Cos making a newer version usually implies is better, it is they have change to a cheaper maker or something???
  4. found this.. but it doesn't look like a plexi http://www.classywatches.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1368
  5. After seeing the rep 390 of which it is very tempting to buy, anyone heard anything with the rep 372? The gen 372 is till crazily over price for a standard production model. I fancy seeing the 372 first and decide whether to get the 390 or not.
  6. there's a side by side from Andrew http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_55&products_id=9145 I take it the one without the red sticker is the gen
  7. I just started lurking around this forum for about 2 months. Being a gen guy all my life (my old man is a grey dealer), I have to say it affects me, but only pieces I think is not worth buying in Gen. For example I bought my very first Hublot rep. I really like the watch but for the price of the real one I might as well buy myself a nice SE Pam or a vintage Rolex. This kinda goes with Pam now, cos after the 2012 SIHH I have to say I am a little annoyed with Pam releasing things just by tweaking a few things. Like adding a Pig to the 425 and adding a logo on the 424 and a date. I spend quite a bit on the 249 and they are releasing the 448 which is pretty much my 249 but with a different freaking movement. Atleast Rolex doesn't remake a 1655 or a Paul Newman.
  8. Looks pretty good with the rounded pusher (or did you do that yourself?). Any close up shots of the metal roundings for the numbers? Mind sharing the seller pls?
  9. Thanks guys, nice to see a kiwi here! Also any opinions/experience on the metal surroundings on the numbers for some models? It seems Chronopassion is a popular choice (I quite like it myself) but the metal rim which goes around the numbers seems to be lacking on some rep versions or they are just too thin.
  10. Hi guys, Thinking in getting a Rep ROO (non metal bracelet), can you guys recommend a model you think is the best Rep compared with a Gen and also the dealer's name? Cheers Phil
  11. I just bought my first Hublot rep, the reason why I bought it is because I can't justify the price for a real Hublot when I can use the same money to buy a gen Pam SE. I personally don't see Hublot are great watches, I like the design but shocking movement compared to other makes. Also I wanna wear this rep while I am on slightly dodgy places in Eastern Europe, so I can leave my gen at home I will buy gen when is worth buying, I have gen Rolex and Pams but Hublot is not a brand I will consider worth buying gen for....
  12. Hey guys Any of you can understand or explain why most Hublot rep seems to be more pricey than say Pam or Rolex? Most Hublot (auto) starts atleast late $300USD and it goes up to mid $700; while normal reps that I've seen is around late $200 to mid $300... Just wondering why and appreciate some explanations.
  13. Thanks guys. What about Perfect Clones? They seem to claim they have a base here in the UK, but I can't find a review section of them in this forum. Anyone dealt with them before?
  14. Thanks guys, just another question (sorry). Anyone had any experience in purchasing from the UK? Custom issues etc? Any popular UK base sellers? I've been looking at the review sections (recommended from above) but can't seem to figure out the location of some sellers.
  15. Hey guys, New here, so pls be kind to me I am thinking of getting a rep Hublot (I don't see the reason in buying a real one as I rather spend that money in buying SE Pams). I am new with Hublot (I am pretty good with Rolex and Pams as I collect them). Any sites you guys can recommend me in looking at? I am based in London. Also any recommendation in models to look out for will be much appreciated. Also any tips or warning in getting the watch through to customs? Cheers Phil
  16. Try New Zealand you might get the Armed Offenders Squad knocking at your door
