i think the asian dssd its alot of watch for the money . the movement can be replaced for about $25 & it will run close to eta movement . the only thing i do wish my asian dssd came with is a sapphire crystal . good luck

its a direct fit , exept for the date wheel , you have to swap the old date wheel or old date wheel inlay to the new movement & thats it .. if you search the watch repair section you will find many usefull threads . good luck .

thanx dude . i think the offerie dg2813 is superior quality to the dg2813 that come with the reps , i cant explain it but it just feels like to different movements performance wise .. i got mine from andrew to man for $128 its alot of watch for the $$$ . if only it came with a sapphire ..

the latex gloves prevents fingerprints on the dial , i hate when that happens .. as for the a7750 i never tried it ..

HONESTLY i bought a cheap watch makers tool kit from china on ebay like for $20 .. i used : hand removal tool . hand setting tool . 1mm screw driver . dust blower . tweezers rubber gloves thats it .. .thanx man .. good lluck with your project . p.s for those with asian steelfish the offerie dg2813 was a direct replacement i didnt need to swap the date wheel , the new date wheel lined up perfectly

YEP ! your 100% right on the date wheel , i swapped the date wheel inlay on my new offeri dg2813 & she's working like a eta'ish movement very happy with the offeri dgseries ! the dg's that come in asian reps to me are crap ! ...dirty/dry & keep bad time .. thanx again man .. on the other hand i also installed the offeri dg2813 on my asian steelfish & the date wheel lined up perfectly .

could not do it without threads like yours & aj's thanx man .. hey Toad are you sure that the dg4813 from like offeri is a direct swap to the dg2813 ? cause i belive a read somewhere that the dg4813 with the corect hight for the hands are out of stock & the ones on offeri have a short Cp so the hands will touch the dial ..

so my beloved asian deepsea came with a dud dg2813 , no sweat i bought a new replacement from offrie for about $25 .. did the swap very easy but once i installed the dial to the new movement i realized that the date wheel was wayyyyyyyy of please see pic you can actualy see the movement ... so i did a quick search in the forum & came up with a way cool thread from the toadman & aj's dg2813 swap .. so i realized after reading the thread that i had to do a date wheel swap wich i am not confident in doing yet . so i went the economy route & glued on the old date wheel inlay to the new movement & BAM !!!! worked like a charm !! thanx toadman & aj !! so heres some after pix & i am happy as a clam man !! guys the offrie dg2813 works great ! its eta;ish . offrie new dg2813 with the old date wheel glued on : watch fully assembled

Man thats good to know , im actualy swapping the date wheel inlay on my offrei dg 2813 , soon i will post some pix . p.s. i thoght i read one of aj's thread pertaining to the 2813/4813 swap that the hight of the canon pinion is not the same as the dg2813 .. & that they only made a few of dg4813 with the right hand hight .. but i hope that you are right cause i would love to swap with the better 4813 , i just wasent sure about the hand hight . thanx again man great thread .. ill post some pix in a few im almost done ..

man i enjoyed that tutorial man you & aj's help me greatly . now i have swapped my dssd factory dg2813 wich sucked ! . with a new offeri dg2813 , everything went well BUT the date is of center due to , i didnt swap the old date wheel cause i am not confident enuff to do the date wheel swap . but i will practice on a old dg mvt & once i feel that i am ready , i will try your method .thanx ! but for the moment my dssd with the offeri dg2813 is working like an eta man !! i cant get over on what a difference a new offeri dg mvt works over a factory rep dg mvt .. i take it that dg4813 was the aj's version with the correct hight for the hands ?

I got mine from trusty ') love the watch cant seem to take it off ... the asian dg2813 died soon after , i replaced it with a offrie dg2813 for about $25 i just installed it & running sweet man . the date wheel is a lil off but it doesent bother me .. good luck .

oh yes he did he received THE RX letter & called me up & read it to me , i can say that as he was reading it to me , he had to take a small break to change his shorts .. & in the letter it did say it was illegal to buy or sell reps .. i told him not to do anything but he sent a money order for $350 to the rx lawyers in nyc ..

I would try to regulate it ..then take it from there .. could be that whom evey installed the movement at the factory didnt properly adjust the regulator arm .. its a matter of moving it + or - in small increments ( not the fine regulator ) . good luck dude ,...
