The 1680 was the only gen Ive ever owned. So I was greatly excited to see joshes white 1680. Funny thing is it was so long ago that I owned the gen I cant remember much about it. I didn't hang out on the forums back then and didn't really study the watch. Just wore it and thought it was cool. One thing thats not right on this rep is the crown. Its too big. The pictures make the crown look much larger than it actually is. Especially in close up shots. The bracelet feels a lot lighter than I remember my gen. But that was 10 years ago. lol Anyways here are the pics. All in all for $200 a pretty decent rep. The crystal is super nice on these reps the date mag is nice to.

Not trying to rant here. Just wondering how long before my vendor comes to the rationalization that the package is LOST. No updates for 40 days... "Just ordered a bracelet (which is going to be a catch and release) and a watch from Andrew 8 days ago. Arrived today (US), no problems at all." It must the difference between having a parcel go through NY state airport or say LAX as far as customs at this point. I now have three parcels that left china according to ems on the 8th one on the 9th. No more ems updates. Those parcels most likely made to Chicago by the 10th. Customs just must being sitting on them. Although it doesn't show that customs has accepted them on the tracking system. Again Ive never had a parcel drop off the tracking system let alone 3!

I just wish for some kind of update. I have to say these are probably my last reps (if they do arrive). Why not use a company like FedEx claim its jewelry, claim a value of $300, pay the tax and avoid all this mess?

10 days with no updates from ems. Last known was on the the 8th of this month. I was searching the net last night and discovered that O'hare over the last 3 weeks has been seizing all manner of parcels. Basically their taking advantage of the new anti terrorism laws. Anything coming from china gets alot of attention. In the past weeks they've confiscated 1.2m in counterfeit electronics, 65000 dvds, 100,000 Cuban cigars and countless counterfeit bags ect. This marks a change from primary drug related enforcement of the past. Point is O'hare is becoming if not already is a bad area for reps to pass through.

There is one instance I believe awhile back maybe 4 years ago. Anyways goes something like this, gentlemen is having breakfast in a belgium cafe wearing his very poor rolex rep. So poor in fact that a rolex official eating in the same cafe makes a note of it and reports it to the local officials. He is then called at his residence and told to report immediately to the local police station. He shows up with his rep not thinking that the rep was the reason for the phone call. He is confronted about the rep but denies the fact its a rep. He begins to cry and is held over night in jail where he is badly beaten though the night. LOL no. I'm just going to add the watch to my collection. I think its still a neat watch. Not accurate. But looks to be a nicely made watch.
