  1. I think you have the same watch as me. A nicer version though (Correct case). Unfortunately mine is built with a Sub case. This watch has some imperfections.... The the date wheel position is incorrect ect. The watch has really nice build quality though. The date wheel while positioned wrong has the sharpest font Ive seen. Not a bad watch but dont bring it with in a mile of the Rolex AD.

  2. Reminds me of the time I brought my 1680 into the A.D. for service. The sales woman was sure it was probably fake because "rolex crystals dont scratch". Then she asked "Where did you purchase it? Ebay....."

  3. Thanks much TTK. Im using a cheap point and shoot digital. I have a old Nikon F5 film camera but its very tricky so I stick to the point and shoot. I was looking at a new Nikon D2Xs Digital but with a decent wide angle lens its more costly than a new Submariner. Id rather have the Submariner.

  4. ...from Trusty?

Other than the pushers being symmetrical, it looks like a pretty good rep of my all time favorite Rolex.

Found this on the web. I think it's gen:

That watch is nice but not accurate. If you really want that model then go for it. Just Know that its incorrect in case dimensions pusher alignment and a few more areas. That watch is 39mm the real deal is 37mm. The pushers are also symmetric which is incorrect. All this really is trivial though, taking into account that they no longer make accurate versions of that watch. At least that I'm aware of. You might try to purchase a DW from a member although I doubt theyll let it go.

  5. Anyone tell me how you take a pic like this?

I mean the gold on this rep looks better than any Gen Ive ever seen... So is this done with filters? Ive been wanting to take some pics of my two tts like this but I cant get anywhere close to this.

  6. "Looks like the font on King's version is a bit oversize too" This is the exact problem with my current GMT. I often browse my local official Rolex dealer ( minus my rep). Man... the dial on my watch is huge compared to the Gen. I think it has something to do with the crystal they are using on some of these reps.

  7. I think these are referred to as the Root Beer GMT. Its been awhile since my last purchase ( 8 months) and Ive got the bug again. Ive found 2 versions of this watch. Does anyone happen to have one? If so could you please post pics. I dont wear my reps in public unless I have a long sleeve shirt so Im not too concerned with being called out. I love the two tone sport models and this one seems to have allot of charisma.
