  7. cheera for the input guide. the reason I was asking for a 4813 specific guide is because iv never done anything like this before, and yes I know I should probably get someone else to do it but I really wanna learn myself so I can do more and more myself in the future..... I'm well aware of the risks which is why I'm starting on a 4813 and not 2824 Swiss! I'm really hoping to find a knackered 4813 to practice on but I haven't been able to find one so I'm just gonna get a upo 4813 and if it ever breaks iv got my wish! if not then iv god a nice reliable one tht I can't complain about! if I ever come round to replacing it and do my best to make some sort of tutorial to help contribute back to the forum
  8. by swap I just mean replacing a dead one with new replacement......
  9. are there any threads on a 4813 movent swap? tried searching for ages but couldn't find anything?!
  10. no no i agree, hence why i said i "i definitely agree about the QC issues here however" ..... it really is hard to assess the QC that the picture is intended for if you cant properly see it. However the pictures sent (more so the second time) are more than fantastic, the lighting, the quality of the photos overall are very very good and as customers it really is a extra benefit! either way i guess iv gone a bit off topic......

    Noob 111 N

yeah man i know that, i apologise for my post it really wasnt very clear at all i must have been pretty tired at the time. I know the noob M is better than the H maker, even a quick glance at the teardown and that much is obvious. What i was trying to get accross was in the new N's was trevor saying that it is infact H maker that is better than noob? or just better than what they were before?
  12. this is my point, if its perfect to you, and youv had a good look thats all that matters! enjoy your watch mate
  13. i definitely agree about the QC issues here however i do think its a fine line on the QC request http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/qc-pics-are-85538.html as pointed about above its in a way not fair that many people can receive QC issues, find the watch perfectly fine, but then post online where someone might spot a minute flaw that the OP wouldnt have otherwise seen, and never noticed, but because of the posting the OP rejects it leaving the dealer to resource! however i do see why people post on here, im just pointing out the opposing side

whilst I agree that every model MAY be different I disagree with everything else. there is quite obviously a difference between factories otherwise TDs woulnt charge different prices and people would seek certain types!! on top of that see the noob vs h factory comparison and try and tell me there's no difference!
  15. for all you guys considering selling your upo 42 drop me a pm if you ever do!

  19. cheers mate, i just asked because its hard to find any pictures to compare the joining of the straps of the two (SS vs leather) thanks for the help though!
  20. this might be a dumb question but can you freely change the metal bracelet versions to a leather strap?
