Its not that the word 'watch' is bad...its just why take any risk? Why is it necessary to put 'watch' or 'timer' or 'timing device'...just put 'Thanks' and be done with it.

Stop your whining dude. Angus made a mistake thats all...first of all...I'd have him swap it out for a 111e...more accurate... Anyways...don't get your panties in a bunch about a missing 'L SWISS MADE L'....because I'm not sure which is better... having nothing there or having it SQUISHED up against the '6'...either way it looks like crap. If you're heart is set on a sandwich dial I'd check out davidsen's 112...if u have to go the sandwich 111 route he has 1 dial that I've seen that is actually pretty good... IMHO, i'd get the 111e for $220 & vaclume it when u get a chance. Make sure though Angus sends u one with the whitish font not the yellow/green. Peace

It just depends... For me if its a PAM I just can't wear it unless it at least has the pin fix & vaclume...not that I need things to glow in the dark but I hate the yellowish/greenish color of some of the PAM reps...so when looking for a new PAM rep I look for these qualities.. Then I ask is there something special about it...for instance...should i get this 217 because i don't have any PAMs with the CG on the other side....should I get this 212 because I don't have a PAM chrono and have never owned a seagull mvmt... When it comes to other brands I have to agree with Sub and I lean towards the 'super reps' Its really tough for me to wear another breitling when I have a my BCE ultimate....and now that I have the HBB ceramic...you got to look at reps in a whole different way...I put mine side by side at a friend's jewelry shop in the diamond district...the only difference was i have a white date background and his gen had a black... Although...no watch has been calling to me of late...I've been busy with several watch projects so I'm out of the loop in terms of the brand new stuff...

arghhh...i think the timing is off for me on this run. I have a BCE that I just received and waiting on another. I'd like to time them with getting a Lello DW done, which isn't going to be for another couple weeks due to some issues with the current batch.

Anyone know if its a dramatic difference between the double AR on the ultimate BCE?

Why is everyone so shy about naming names? If it was me I'd say...Just received a fully modded 111h from 'so and so' and the quality seems a bit off...I'm awaiting his response to make good on this transaction... Why is this so negative? I hope everyone understands that mistakes occur and many times you're not going to get the perfect product, but its how the dealer rectifies the situation. This post sale behavior in my opinion is the key to a superior dealer. I don't think mentioning that he/she screwed up should be such a scary thing. I've received crap products from just about every dealer at one point or another just because of sheer volume. But I still go back to them because they've shown me that when they do screw up that make it all better...and sometimes with an added bonus!

Is Lello the only source for a DW upgrade? The $$ to Euro conversion is killing me...

It definitely have its flaws compared to gen....subdial spacing...rect. pushers versus round pushers...automatic vs quartz... But for $100, it just looks like a cool watch...on top of that I don't have any quartz chronographs or quartz watches in general... I'm looking forward to this watch and to your review Pix!

Do the "ultimate" BCE need the double AR done? Or is the default one sufficient...If it needs one I'm definitely in. I won't be able to send the crystal for a week though since I just ordered mine. I broke down and order one after seeing the black dial/silver subdials at the AD. I was never interested in the BCE...graphite on graphite looks washed out...so does the slate gray/black subdials... For some reason, even my girl was like WOW when she saw the black/silver subdial on my wrist... The gen. has a very inky black dial to it, I think due to the amazing AR on the gens....

Its a rep for sure. Poor pearl for one. CGs wrong. Crown's too big. Its a sub from the noob factory...look at the rehaut thickness and the dark ring...one of the attributes that makes the noobmariner wonderful.

Just got back from the rollie AD in town. I wore my super SD under my sleeve and had a moment to compare them... Besides the CGs, pearl, and the slightly fatter bezel insert font...its an amazing rep... Without being right next to the real deal....no way you can tell its a rep... -d
