Thanks Mickey!
From perusing dealer pics...to me at least it seems the 196 has a better dial...
the white dial, the hr fonts seem thinner than gen...the subdial hands on the rep pics are silver
instead of black...and the spacing between the 2,4,8,10 compared to the seconds subdial,
and minute subdial seem off?
I'm not sure if the dealer pics are old, and some of these issues have been corrected.
Actually Angus's price is better than Andrew/Josh...
His $298 price includes SS bracelet and second strap.

Definitely would love to meet up with u guys....
Unfortunately I've sold off all my collection except for 2...so I'll be taking donations at the GTG...
Good food & good liquor is a must! Can't disappoint the out of towners...
Actually I think LR was suppose to come up to Jersey around that time..
No way I'd trust it unless they shot a picture of the mvmt.
Based on price...I say no way that its an ETA 7750 mvmt...more likely an A7750 mvmt...
Ask the vendor to shoot you a picture of the mvmt and then post it for us to see...
This is a ridiculous deal....the cheapest I've seen them for is around $770 - $849 online. MSRP is $1495
I just picked one up....can't resist the ETA 7750...
@Stephane: thank you my friend. it certainly is a looker. I had owned a Cousteau Diver before and liked the look, but
I've never been keen on rubber straps, so a diver like this on bracelet is nice. I like the fact that it is 42mm as well.
Recently I've been on an IWC kick...I can't get over how beautiful a modded Ingy & 3717 can be.
Just got this from UB7...perfect transaction.
Its got an issue with the day wheel which I knew before purchasing....This
will get an ETA 7750 installed in it today. If you fix the day wheel might as well swap the whole darn thing...right?
Overkill?
NYC you say...how can you not love this city? Korean bbq at 3 am after a night of partying...and then some Pinkberry afterward...hrmph! enough said..
the arts...the culture...the fashion...the myriad of museums...the diversity of people...and the food..ahhh...the food (can you tell i'm a complete foodie and should be 400 lbs)...meeting up with friends for drinks at a champagne bar or a rooftop...the buzz of the city is undeniable...do i ever get sick of it...hell yea! But I could never live without it...the only place that feels like home to me...
not to say that i don't see the allure of the suburbs...i completely get it (i've lived in GA, CT, IN prior to moving to NYC)...but no city is like NYC...
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G review my friend...I wish I was resourceful enough to put something like this together...
I can barely put together a book report for a Judy Blume book...
I LOVE this watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
