I originally had 2 versions of this watch - an asian model with the short hands and correct HE valve, but sold it in '05. Then got an ETA Swiss model, but had the incorrect datewheel (white instead of black), but everything else wsa fine. Sold that one in '06. Looking back, what a dumb mother f'er I was, right?

Got exactly the same watch. Just talked to Angela and she is waiting to hear back from her supplier whether or not she can get more of the black ones in. She asked me if I wanted the blue one, but don't know if I like the blue since its very hard to rep that blue color for this model.

Ive seen her listing come and go on ioffer. Ive been in contact with Angela. She is shippnig 3 watches back to them to get 3 new ones sent to her to inspect. Before all this takes place, she sent a mail to her supplier to check to make sure they have them in stock before shipping. Mine is targeted to arrive at her place today. So, we'll wait and see.

BTW - Ryaku, good thing you didn't file that PP complaint after all, you got a winner over there. To be honest, I could live with the scratches on the insert if I got the correct hands, correct HE valve, etc. Enjoy the watch.

Got mine yesterday and had the same issue. Really really disappointed. Emailed Angela and told her all of the issues. One of the worse dials I have ever seen. On the good side, she did say I could send it back and she would source me the correct one. We will wait and see.

The electric blue gen is unbelievable. I highly doubt the blue version that is offered on Ioffer has that same blue for the dial. Don't know how hard it is to rep the blue, but I have seen many many reps of the blue version and they're horrible.

well, it looks like its been attempted to be delivered to my place twice - the only problem is that i think it's being delivered to the wrong address. Tracking said two attempts and left notices - but my doorman said no one from USPS came by (he has to buzz them in). Sent her an email confirming what address it was sent to. Hopefully she gets my email and finds out what is going on.

Supposedly, per USPS website, they tried to deliver it to me yesterday and left a notice. No notice was left and my doorman said that he didn't see anyone from USPS. Called USPS and they told me that on the first attempt, they may not leave a notice and try to deliver it the next day around some the same time. So, hopefully, it comes within the next hour. Hopefully, they sent it to the right address. Once I get it, hopefully today, I will let everyone know.

Yeah, I think you only get 30 days to file the claim, so you'd be close to the 30 day mark. Good luck and hopefully everything works out for you.

No, didn't see that part - so I get it now. If you gotta open a complaint with PP, then go for it. Maybe that will get her attention.

I got the same response. When given the tracking number, EMS did not update for a few days. I wouldn't say more than 3 days. When it did show, it was just in batch. I think everyone has to remember that when dealing with a middle-man, such as Angela, that everything will not run like clockwork. Who knows if her supplier takes her money and F's her, which means we get F'ed because there's no watch. I really hope it works out for you and everyone else who orderd through her. Give it to Wednesday the latest to see if it shows in EMS.

Ryaku - did Angela ever get back to you? I know I wrote her an email stating that I have yet to receive any tracking info. Then 2 days later, got it. Its in the process of being delivered. So I may have to run the PO to pick it up in order to sign for it.

If it came to CHI, I'd be a happy camper The last 4-5 reps came right to CHI and then to my place the next day. Cool..just wanted to make sure. Many thanks everyone. If receiving a watc to the US and it comes into San Fran - is that good? I know that TX is not good. Any issues going through SF Customs ?

Got my tracking number close to a week after purchasing. Then the tracking didn't show up to a couple days later. My tracking is EA...CN and dispatched from FUZHOU. So don't know the difference between EE and EA.

Ryaku - I feel your pain. I sent her a note about not hearing back from her about tracking or any other update, then 3 days later, finally got a tracking number. Right now, leaving dispatch. So hopefully get here by Saturday. I was going to have the watch be sent to Angela to make sure it's correct, but since some other members got theirs, taking my chance. Can always later open a compaint with my CC and/or PP. BTW - Asked her if she had ever seen the blue on in person, she said no - only the black. I really wanted the blue, but that is probably one of the hardest dials to rep.

I want to say the pearl gives it away that it's a rep, but not sure due the pic lighting. Keep in mind, on IOffer and CQOut, many sellers post pics of gens.

Looking to install a gen Rollie crown on my new SDD. Question about the size - is it the same as the sub - 7mm? Just want to confirm.

If you do buy the Rubber straps - they were made for the 2nd/3rd version PO. When you see the straps, there will be metal caps in the middle of the lugs that would fit into the case to prevent any gaps when installing the straps on the watch. Since the 4th version PO does not have this hold in the case, you would need to clip those caps from the straps. I used the rep straps on my GMT. In order to prevent the gaps from the straps (lugs), threw a little super glue. No gap - no issue.

Nice that this model still exists somewhere and a couple of us are in line to become very owners of this watch. Can't wait to get mine, but still waiting for tracking info from Angela. As for the A/R - I wouldn't think this model had A/R. I think the first A/R model for the Omega was the 4th gen PO. Now, we hope that every watch comes with A/R.

As HighDef pointed out, the gen will not fit. Have Andrew send you the correct hand.
