I thought I read somewhere that the would not be doing any mods for those who had Joe perform mods for the min the past. I had Joe perform some mods for me in the past, which I thought turned out great - no complaints by me. I never got invovled in the tuffs between Joe and the world on this board and always gave kudos to those who did a kick ass job modding watches - Joe, The Zigmeister, Vac, Flav, Marrick, etc.

Does that mean we're ban in doing business with The Zigmeister?

Send it to one of our modders....they can remove the logo and have it looking straight in no time. There are threads where poeple have done this in the past. Marrick had done this with my 4th gen PO (logo right on top of OMEGA - known flaw) and had raised it up a bit.

Ha...that's the guy that MACAVI, who scammed me and a host of others, complained about at RWI about being scammed by him...so, a scammer got scammed by a fellow scammer...now that's what I call irony.

Looking to mod my SUB 16610 with a gen crown and tube. Found the following on the 'bay, but don't know if these are gens or not. Item number: 330164337703 (For some reason, when trying to link to the auction, it's not working). Can anyone confirm whther or not these are legit?

If you followed the rebuilding process, you would know what I am referring to. Months after 9/11, they came out with 6 prelimary designs which was poorly received. Then they held a design contest a year later with thousands of entries of what to do with the site. I beleive it was then narrowed down to 7 designs then with the Freedom Tower design being the winner. Again, the original design for the Freedom Tower was poorly received. At this point, people wanted the Towers back. You had lawsuits with Silverstein over how much he should receive from insurance. You had politics playing a big part of this. The Port Authority got involved. Families got involved. Yes, it wasn't an easy process, but it took much longer that it should have in the first place. As a proud American, I would have like for the Towers to be rebuild - again - bigger, taller, stronger. Many Americans, regardless of what is being built, would have liked to see the rebuilding process take shape alot quicker with quicker results. BTW - not Bush's fault - it was the 19 mother F*#!&@ fault and that impotent smelly f*#& hiding in his littel cave.

Freedom Tower is not the Twin Towers....yes they are rebuilding, but the whole rebuilding process has been a disaster....so yes, what's being done is less, not more....

The million dollar question...why not rebuild the towers - bigger, stronger & taller?

Thanks. Defintely a keeper, unless I need funds for a new project. You should see how the dial, waves and lume stand out with the double. I may swap out the single side A/R from my PO v4 with this one and see how the PO stands out with double A/R.

Looks great...Awesome job by The Zigmeister....I did the exact same thing, but my crystal is double-sided with A/R. I also got my insert from Silix, but he had sent me the correct insert (with the better pearl) from the SMP Chrono

Does anyone know the exact size of the UPO crystal? I may just go ahead and buy a new saphire crystal and keep my current UPO crystal for back up.

Doesn't River offer the same watch as well?

The one listed for $169 is for the 45mm Planet Ocean (see case number on Ofrei's site). The one listed for $149 is for 42mm Omegas, such as te 2245, 2264 and a host of others. Hope that helps.
