No, it´s not the same case. TC´s new V6 case has different CG´s and a thinner rehaut - a step backward imho. I´ve made a comparison pic (sorry for the bad qualitiy - this is a quick shot with bad light) with my gen D-Series, TC V-Series (removed rehaut engraving), TC V6 and my Cadell Submariner (from right to left). Cadell and V6 have the same case - they have both a thinner rehaut and more rounded CG´s compare to the old V-Series case. After all, the gen D-Series has an slightly thicker rehaut than the V-Series case...

No, rehaut is remarkable thinner than on his older v-series case...
