Any chance of getting a 1680x1050 res version for the widescreen LCD owners amongst us? Cheers~!

Man - wish someone would buy my Ingy for $921USD! I could get quite a few more reps for that! Biggest giveaway for me was that the serial number is the same as the serial number on my Ingy! aha

Used toothpaste and warm water and brushed all the links well ... not onyl does it look HEAPS better now (not sure why) it also stopped most of the squeaks! Now only a tiny squeak. Do u only apply the WD 40 the the pins?

Ive got a gold plated pen from the 70's and its still good ... dont use it that often. Also being 18kt gold - they could mix different alloys into it to make it harder than normal jewellery 18kt gold. 18kt jsut means that 75% of the weight is gold (18/24 = 75%).. the rest is a alloy

Andrew said the factory is only gonna make another batch if he orders 500 units ... NOT FAIR

I am also after a box - if anyone finds out someone with them let me know!!

On Josh site says that the Chrono has light AR coating ... damn i have a brand new SS - prefer a [censored]

Can anyone comment on the quality of the titanium inge? Im putting my order in this week. The last link in Josh's photos looks like it isnt titanium - it looks like a different colour to the rest of the bracelet. Also the red markers look not as bright and vibrant as the gen in the photos.
-
thats the same face that i want - but ill be opting for SS bracelet when i purchase - not much of a rubber man
-
yes i want the SS aquatimer chrono gen with the black and white face
-
Thanks guys - exactly the info im interested in. I dunno about manual wind - ive never had one so I guess would take some getting use to Im guessing you need to wind it each day?
-
I am very tempted to buy the gen ... i like it THAT much. I tried on a black face with white hands and markers and SS case Also tried on the titanium with yellow highlights. But I liked the feel and look of the SS better in this case. I did notice the deployment clasp was in titanium on the SS bracelet tho!! extra strength i guess:P Cant wait to see the Cousteau - Do we know if it includes a rep piece of wood? The blue with orange does look great. I also scored a copy of the 2006 IWC catelogue when i was at the AD. Its like a hardcover book!

Hey guys, Just went down to look at the genuine IWC Aquatimer - and all i can say is WOW I didnt really give this watch too much consideration at first until the sales guy showed it to me! I was most impressed with the Bezel! I didnt realise that the bezel which is inside the glass has a button which makes it rotate! The stopwatch can even be used underwater! I am so in love with the watch now and am trying to pin down a rep - but cant seem to find any. Does a rep not exist?

Titanium for the AMG version would be very nice too

Hey guys, Ive been skimming thru this forum for weeks now and have been searching for a Panerai ideal for myself. However, because there are so many and alot seem to be manual Im not sure which are the better ones to get. Out of the automatic (not manual wind) swiss ETA Pams - which are the best reps? preferably 40-44mm range. Thanks guys - and photos would be awesome too.

Yer ive noticed soem people even have those devices i think called "diaselectorII" that checks the crystal to make sure it is of the same hardness

On Behalf Of Demsey About "dealers Based In China"
Romp replied to gran's topic in General Discussion
Ordered a Omega PO and IWC Ingy last Thursday from Josh - his communication was prompt although his webpages were slow. The watches arrived in Australia super fast - they landed here on Saturday, cleared customs on Monday and was delivered here yesterday. Very fast and good service. -
Wearing my Gen Maurice Lacroix (sorry bad camera phone pic) - will start wearing my Ingy next week - gonna get some JB weld
-
I would also like to add that because IWC is not as well known or popular as Omega/Rolex then there are less people who would actually be able to tell the difference if they saw it on your wrist:) So im happy with my ingy but still - the current rep Big Pilot needs fixing!!!
-
Im sure they probably DO make these kinds of profits ... there is a huge difference between the PERCEIVED value of something and its actual value. For example - I was in the jewellery trade. A $150 strand of freshwater pearls you see in your average jewellery store would cost me tops of $4 in materials. Of course there is labour and overheads and insurance etc to factor in to the price .. but still the markup on stuff is huge. Im quite sure the profit on reps is a nice size - BUT I am happy to pay because of the service and risk involved to these dealers and I cant get these reps elsewhere!
