  1. .. what did that mean?
  2. No problem, take all the time you need.
  3. No wonder, IWC's ain't so popular here, especially pilot models. Pug when you're not too busy could you take a close shot of the central pinion? I wish to see a detailed view of the main seconds hand (it's two coloured and it looks pretty good). Thanks
  4. Nice watch, just a little too big for my wrist (same problem with the Ingenieur ant it's a pity as i love the chrono version). As for Kuyt ...he's one of the least elegant football player i've ever seen. He's a great runner and unsparing but the play of football is something different from my point of view.
  5. Unnecessary mention apart , very complete review and article, filled as usual with great pics. Despite flaws watch's still one of my favourite and it looks gorgeous on wrist, enough dressy and not too big for an average sized wrist. You rightly highlighted that hands color for subdials and main seconds look uncorrect in all dealers's pics, better ask em a confirmation before purchasing. Also in you pics hands finishing are very accurate, neither Portoguese second hand finishing is so accurate. Thanks Pug.
  6. Nice watch with almost perfect date wheel Thanks for pics, always much appreciated
  7. It's a bit tiny but beautiful..also i'm not a big fan of huge watches
  8. Congrats Andy!! I wouldn't be so crazy to try such repairings but you're much more proficient than me. My favourite one is the seamaster, beautiful indeed.
  9. Well done Puggy, i'm voting YES right away
  10. I'm not a big breitling fan but yes..i'm waiting for the new *improved* version.
  11. Not bad looking...too bad i'm afraid it's a fantasy model (size should be smaller)
  12. Good point. Pity cause it's a real beauty.
  13. I already voted "yes".

Great choice! It's a marvellous watch. Pug is right hands don't fit (actually if i'm not mistaken hours and minutes hands fit well not the others). I don't think ofrei can source em...but drop 'em a line, it's worth a try anyway.
  15. Absolutely outstanding wrist shots! Thanks mate
  16. Thanks jonas but don't be in a hurry, take your time.
  17. It looks gorgeous How about posting some wrist shots? (it's the third request you get here, sorry)

No it isn't. It's just a picture from the Iwc catalogue.

    Hope it helps:
  22. I'm just curious to see how they'll replicate the wood case back. Wasn't more reasonable (i mean easier) trying to make a perfect replica of the normal version with ss bracelet?!
  23. Which version of Sea Hawk is considered in our poll??!! I would vote if i knew the diameter. 44mm i'm afraid it's the ti version size.
  24. Uh. Not a great selection in my opinion but it's only a matter of taste (i'm sure each member here would have a completely different list). Breguet looks very nice but i wonder if the Flyback Chronograph Function is replicable. If it wasn't we probabily should replace it with a different chrono. I'm almost sure Richard considered this point before selecting it. GP, i like the 42mm diameter model or the 40mm diameter with ss bracelet version. Black or blue dial.
  25. Why don't we add also this watch to the poll? I'm sure it'd be one of the most appreciated replica ever.
