I think the best overseas would be a mix of 1st and 3rd generations (3rd gen is 2nd gen with AR): Case, glass and bracelet from 3rd + dial from 1st placing the cross from3rd + relume. With such a simple mix you have a 99.99 % perfect rep.

This is a very nice rep, but not the best. I would say the Chrono GMT is more accurate than this.

It will depend also in the season... close to Christmas, in example, use to make it longer... but i would say 2-3 weeks is a regular delivery... sometimes less, sometimes more...

Making it simple, I would say a fair price would be 20 % off the cost of your watch plus the expenses of your mods, if any. In example: NEW Ingenieur Chrono AMG....$250 Delivery..................................$20 Double AR coated.....................$55 ------- $325 Fair price for USED (20% off)....................$260 (plus delivery) It may depend also in the condition of the watch, or the exclusivity of it... but for those reps we all constantly see in the forums I, in example (and that's just my opinion), never pay attention to a used watch more expensive than that "fair" price

Ruby can source you the best UPO available by any of the other's dealers. Don't get confused. UPO is build by a factory where most of our dealers can buy it and resell it to us. Josh, Andrew, Homer or any other will sell you EXACTLY the same watch as Ruby, if you ask concretely for a UPO. If you want the best price and the best service Ruby is the best. If you want to pay also for some misunderstanding "marketing", then take it from Josh or Andrew or any other.

It's a stunning watch. I already have the one in SS and white/silver face... so i like it that much that i would like to have now the black dial but in Gold case... that's why I try to find if it is a fantasy or not.

I saw this one on Andrew`s site, and I really love this XXL in gold case, but can't find any source where a gen like this is shown. Anyone can confirm if it is only a fantasy watch ?

I agree with frankpower88. We are talking here about reps, so their main attributes should be to get as much close to the gen as possible. Personal tastes here can play only if you like a genuine watch or not, as a rep is and have to be just an accurate copy of it. When you change a rep so it get totally or partly different to its genuine cousin, you are getting just a bad rep, not a more tasteful watch. what would you get if you put a radiomir crown in a IWC cousteau, with Superocean's hands ? maybe a beautiful watch (who knows, there are tastes of all kinds), but a very silly rep.

From those you placed i would choose the Zenith. You are right about keeping it's value after years, besides it is a stunning watch alive and, over all, in your wrist (in photos it looks a little too much "BUNKER") and it also have the best movements of all without any doubt.

I agree with you in the concept. I like the idea of our dealers getting rich... doing "HONEST" business. The problem here is when some of them (the holy trinity cartel mostly) claim qualities or features in their watches that are NOT true, defective or non working, and here is where i don't understand someone charging me a 400% for something that is not as advertised... or cracked. HBB's $1000 would be a fair price if the watch would work properly for at least 5 years, had a serious guarantee, would have a serious quality control so you wouldn't find wicked letters or screws falling down or crowns jumping out like a rocket, and would be sealed at least so you could get a comfortable shower without finding steam under the glass. $1000 for HBB's they are selling can just be called SCAM. I don't think Josh's Mercedes-Benz is falling in parts... so it seems he got a quality product in accordance to what he paid. That's the only we need with our reps.

Also note from Josh's pics how deep crown is placed compared to gen , and they have missed a dot from 11 to 12, and from 12 to 1 markers.
