  1. Those watches look great...the Snoopy watch looks really big compared to the reduced Speedy....what is the size of the snoopy? 42mm compared to the 40mm of the reduced?
  2. I will second Andy's praise of the 39mm Railmaster...I have one from Ruby with an ETA2836....wrong color movement, but it is keeping to about 12 seconds fast per day. The lume is good, but the gen is MUCH better. If it is on my wrist, it looks pretty genuine. I haven't been to an AD recently to compare them (I wouldn't actually bring in the rep), but I have a feeling it would compare nicely. I think that the only thing that you could do is possibly get the Seagull version and transplant the correct asian dial onto it. Good luck, they are really great watches. Tom
  3. Hi Paul, I think that the only moon watches that are out there (if they are still out there) are ones with a saphire crystal and a dislpay back. As you know, the true moonwatch (Speedmaster Professional) has a plastic domed crystal and the solid caseback...the saphire front and backs and backs only were not the "real" moonwatch. If you find any dealers with the domed plastic crystal and the display back, please let me know. Thanks, Tom
  4. I've always loved this watch...I've got a Yao'ized Seiko diver with a MoD dial that reminds me of this watch...does anyone make a rep of a vintage Seamaster 300? I've seen members make Frankenwatches of them (gorgeous by the way), but does anyone do what Watchco (sp) does without real Omega parts? Thanks,
  5. Thanks everyone...last night's trip to an AD really got my juices flowing...I need to get an AT soon (black or blue) really soon...now I just have to figure if I want a black or blue dial. Initially I was thinking blue, but that black is something (and more versitile to wear too I think). Tom
  6. Hi everyone...I just wanted to say hello...I joined recently and am having a great time reading and learning. I'm trying to learn everything I can about Omegas, especially the Aqua Terra reps. The only rep I currently own is a beautiful Omega deVille that I bought in Rome. The first day I had it I broke it, but a local watchmaker was able to service it back to new. Four years later it still runs like a top. Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning and to many future reps!! Thanks, Tom
  7. Great job!! What a beautiful watch...I'd love to hear more about it, your plans for another one, and more pictures!! Tom
