Hi guys. Maybe someone here can shed some insight. This is my moms tag with Quartz movemt. Provably 10 years old. We just changed the battery and it's still not working. Second hand was stuttering now nothing Any ideas

He's right on. I've had some work great out of the box. Others needed to be serviced or replaced with swiss 7750 for about $500. Don't wind it by the crown more than a few times and don't use the chronos. Give the watch a few swirls in your palm and wear it

Yup. He was selling a 177 here a couple months back. I alerted Moab to it as it was very fishy and the exact watch listed elsewhere.

Is there pin holes on side of clasp where spring bar attaches the strap? I know the gen doesn't have the holes

I agree. My goal was/is to be at or less than 50% of gen. Plus there's some enjoyment of gathering the parts and building something close to gen

The stupid clasp was close to $400 and in hindsight not much better than TC clasp but oh well...

It's close to the 2k mark. Maybe slightly under if I can sell the TC dial and eta movement I had vac put in a while back

This happened to me recently and then all of the sudden After 2 weeks it shows clearing ICS in NYC Seems there has been a slow down with US customs clearing packages. I would give it another 2 weeks before you get too worried

My experimental purchase from aliexpress has arrived. Paid about $85 for watch which included box and papers. I made this purchase only to see what was being offered on aliexpress and not to bash our td's. It was packaged well. Also included what looks like a chinese good luck charm? Right off the bat I can tell this isn't quite up to the level of quality we expect from our td's. The lume is weak, bracelet is ok, date mag looks low, and the Orange looks too neon. Not sure about the movement. Looks pretty basic and with a plastic movement holder. Anyway. On to the pics. Feel free to comment etc etc. this will prob be on M2M soon

Guys. My intention for making the test purchase wasn't to bash our td's. I Just wanted to see what $88 gets me out of curiosity. I have serious doubts that the quality will be anywhere near what our td's get us...
