    Thankyou for your gesture, my friend, I am truly touched, especially knowing that we have not always seen eye to eye.  I can't say anything other than thankyou, and how deeply touched I am by your generosity :good::drinks:

     

    Well, as said, I sincerely think that in such rich countries nobody should struggle.

    Money is pissed away by our governements and in each country there are sill homeless people!

    My gesture is a little gesture to help somebody I "know" rather than somebody I "don't know" ;-)

     

    Come on guys...who wants a Cartier Pache  :clap2:

    Hi TeeJay,

     

    I'm very sorry to hear you're in trouble.

    Nobody should be short of 150£ and so many are!

     

    I have a watch here that isn't exactly the super franken of anybody's dream but quite nice when on the wrist.

    This is a basic version of Cartier's pacha that I won at a GTG raffle.

    It comes from Narika.
    I'm not sure what the value of this watch is but I will send it to the first member who sends 75£ to TeeJay to cover the 150 he needs!

    After all this watch was a gift to the community and I was the lucky winner so it's time to pass it to somebody who will help out another member of the community!

    You let your nephew borrow your gen while you wear a rep? Hmmmm

     

    Well, you know Rep/Gen...it's only about what do you like to wear?

    I have owned quite a lot of 16610 (Rep, modded, franken...) and it make sense to end up with a gen as it is my most desirable watch.

    So, my nephew likes it very much and the only one left is a gen !

    It's a 2000 one, with Swiss dial, so pretty cool as it is a bit different.

    But in the end, the model is what we like isn't it?

    A gen is a gen, but it is not that different from a well build rep :)

    Dear All,

    I start this topic because I am very surprised that I do like the Rolex Deep Sea.  :huh:


    A while ago, when the first reps of that model were released I bought one.
    It lasted a week and then I sold it because it felt to big. :nono:

     

    Lately, one of these was up for sale and, as it was a “NoobFactory” one, I thought I should give it a second try.  

    It’s been two weeks now that I am wearing it every day!

     

    Maybe it is because I’m missing my Subs/SeaDweller that are currently out for mods or at my nephew, and that I have been wearing all my other watches for month, but this time, the Rolex Deep Sea I really love it.  :yeah:

     

    What is your opinion on this model. Do you like it, own one, which version… :euro:

    Got up to 60 watches at a moment !

    Like others, when I discovered RWG I couldn't belive what I read and saw and bought every single watch that was matching my taste.

    Then, year after year I realised that I was only wearing a few watches and that even if the other ones were still nice to look at, wearing them was not an option.

    So I sold everything includung many modified ones.

    In the end, I always wanted a Submariner and a JLC: I have both ones, genuine now and they are the one I really wear.

    The rest of the box contains mainly Rolex (1665,1680,16710 and Exporer II), all reps and all worn.

    So, no evolution here at all: Rolex is my brand not only in terms of taste but also for the ease of them. Simple to wear and size when I gain or loose weight (lost 10kg lately) ;)

    I tried almost every possible type of watch but the black dials and the ss bracelet, except to wear with a suit, are my thing and will remain for ever I guess !

    Hahaha yeha i know sometimes very hard to understand!

    I bought a boxee box and when i play the episodes over te boxe i just press a button on the remote and i get subtitles in english and i can also chouse many diferent subs from all over the world :) the boxee box is great. I dont need to download subs anymore the boxee goes online self and finds the subs for you!

    Interresting! I'm watching on my laptop anyway ;)

    I'm not allowed to share the fever of series :(

    By the way, I saw french subtitles for Shameless last seasons ...but that would be a crime!

    I just found all sesons of shameless uk on the bay, yepp all seven plus 13episodes of Seson 8 smile.gif im happy as a bugger biggrin.gif and they did dowload very fast smile.gif

    What the hell...I only saw two seasons and thought it stopped!

    Edit to say I really need subtitles here :)

    That accent is fantastic but a bit difficulet for non brits!!!

    IMHO, don't worry about it. If you are wearing it on your wrist you will have no problem. Now if it is a super crappy rep..... :)

    Same here.

    I asked myself those questions years ago and in the meantime I became a frequent traveller and never ever was questionned about such things.

    I'm pretty sure it's pure marketing from the Luxury Industry to make believe that customs are strict with replicated items.

    They have no time to check for such things as their core business is now to capture as many luxury perfume or beauty creams bottles over 100 ml as possible so they can share them among the staff and sell them on the sunday market!

    In most of the EU, security controls aren't even performed by customs anyway but by private companies.

    @K. I can imagine what you meant by still wanting to do some case work ;)

    @Nanuq: well I understand you didn't want to polish the crystal...I wouldn't want mine polished either but of course mines are not living among bears so they are less damaged !

    FxrAndy: "So, who's got a small penis?"

    Local bloke: "I have a small penis.." (a bit reluctant)

    FxrAndy: "OK, then this must be yours!" (and gives back his watch)

    [No local resident or RWG member was harmed physically during the incident as the local bloke is a friend of mine]
