  1. Had the same issue a while back.
Couldn't reply to topics or messages and of course the not showing in sales too.

The reply box came back and works now...
    I didn't do anything special.
    I'm on win 10 / Chrome.

When it happened I tried with several browsers from my win 10 laptop, nothing worked ...

    T. Said it's a mystery but I believe there is more to it as  now I'm not the only one!

Haha it's like Panerai and me. We never built any kind of relationship. :D

What do you have in your collection these days Stephane?

    Oh, well, not a lot.
16665 (the ongoing Great White Saga one...now with gen hands and some kind of re-painted gen dial)
    1680 (gen re-whatever dial)

Exporer II old model, Noob, black of course

Ingie from the good old days

    The UPO is still around

And a Noob Deep Sea which I really can't wear anymore as it is too "show off" for my fragile ego now.

In short, no more genuine in the box, no new reps and basically no more funds :fool:

But life is way better these days...got rid of that addiction and of another one much more catastrophic that led me to a new life after loosing everything except hope :notworthy:

I have a gen P serial 16610 from 2000. It has a SEL bracelet, which from my research was the first year that they used the 93250 as a replacement for the 93150. As Matt said, the correct end links were the 580, however I have seen some with the 501b so perhaps both are correct.

I certainly can't fault the 93250 SEL bracelet, very tight and with the drilled lugholes, just as easy to remove as the old style end links.

Interesting. I didn't know they introduced the SEL 93250 that year.
It makes sense : 580 followed by 501B then SEL...the turning point of the 16610.

  4. Welcome back :-)

Although online, I have no idea as mine were mostly done by the old guys too !

I'm sure you will find what you need here though, it's the same good old nice place to hang around.

    Good luck with your project.

Suppose you walk across a park and see two men fighting viciously.

The issue of right and wrong is irrelevant at the point in time. It is human instinct to either stay away, or separate the two.

Right and wrong can be sorted out thereafter over some coffee quietly, or in severe cases, in the courtroom presided over by a judge.

Likewise, we, members of this peaceful community, have little immediate interest in who is right or wrong here. It is unpleasant to see such a situation, and I am sure that you both are guilty to varying degrees to some form of wrongdoing in the matter.

How about you both stop accusing each other of being trolls, and try to get along?

Those with meaningful futures would always lose nothing by letting go of their undesirable pasts and enmities.

Have you guys both have nothing better to do? Sure, people fight occasionally but how about fast forwarding to the "I've gotten over it and moved on" part right about now? I am sure that your contention is not a life threatening one.

    So very well said.

  6. I'm very sorry to see the state of your watch. It's indeed butchered.

I'm usually in disagreement with comments about light scratches all over our watches.
They are ...watches and supposed to be worn.
No way you can keep a watch without scratches unless you polish it each time you wear it.

    But these photos are frightening.
Let's remember that the vast majority of us should NOT touch their watch.
Good lesson for myself next time I thing I should open one of mine to see if it's clean enough :rudolph:
