  1. This is what is on the URL: HUBLOT BIG BANG ~~ Jewelry & Watches: hublot, big bang, watch, eta › Item #17567231 This item is located in Taiwan. Asking price: Make Offer Shipping: Buyer Pays Will ship to: See description Quantity: 1 available If you go into this site (I'd never seen it before) and go into Jewelry, then wristwatches, then type in Hublot you will find this listing. He is selling it with a Swiss 7750 movement, or, so he says, - I really have no clue. I tried the URL below from here and it worked. It didn't work at my office. www.ioffer.com
  2. Shoot, the link doesn't work. Sorry about that.
  3. I have no clue who these people are, just thought I'd toss it out there. http://www.ioffer.com/i/17567231
  4. Outside of the obvious one of the easiest ways to tell quickly is the back of it. On a real one the company is "CO." On a replica they f**ked up and did it with a "Co." Pretty damn stupid of them.
  5. Cheap money, buy it and have fun with it. I cleaned the photo up and it looks decent. You know, you never know. Worth the shot IMO.

  7. I'm fairly new to this group, but, age is on my side when it come to other things. I thought I'd post something that I hope you all will enjoy. I'm an amateur radio op (K4TJP) and one man who is part of our community makes clocks and watches. He does it for himself, and nothing he makes these days is for sale, nor, can he be commissioned to make something. His name is WR Smith and he lives in Powell, Tennessee (USA), just north of Knoxville, TN. What WR does will soon be a lost art. Read his Bio if you're inclined. It's very interesting. I hope you enjoy this. http://www.wrsmithclocks.com/index.htm
  8. This is true. If you open an account in GMail then the known SPAMMERS out there will very likely be blocked at the source. They have a box that indicates SPAM. Open it and empty it. I use GMail and I have seldom ever seen any SPAM come into it. Over the past year I have seen no more than a half a dozen. They must be doing something right. To the newbie GMail might appear confusing, but, if you give yourself a chance you'll see how easy it is. Tim
  9. As an example, I never go into Outlook to view any emails after I turn the PC on. I will go to the providers on line web mail server and check it FIRST. Can you do that?
  10. Most of this actually depends on your providers ability to block SPAM coming into your email box. There are a great many providers that do a great job with this, one of which (here in the US) is Earthlink. They're on top of it. In addition, Earthlink also provides you with a safety net. That "safety net" is providing you with five (5) anonymous email addresses. With those five email addresses (free to users) you can go into sites that you might be concerned about taking your email address and selling it to others or simply laying dozens of unwanted emails in your box. They can't be traced back to you. Earthlink will BLOCK any and all email coming into your Outlook in box as long as their names you NOT in your mail box at the source (provider). Another provider is AOL, but, I wouldn't wish that outfit on my worst enemy. AOL absolutely sucks hind [censored] big time. Want a memory eater? Get AOL. Tim
  11. Interesting observation. I know enough about watch movements to make myself appear foolish 99% of the time. I suppose I go back to the phrase, "I want to know what time it is, not how the watch (or clock) works." Most comments I have read have not been stellar when it comes to the A7750 unless it is utilized in less than a chronograph. At 63 I'm still learning... it never stops until I stop.. :-)
  12. That works. Not a problem in waiting. I just hope the watch comes out with the Swiss movement. That is my only concern. W/O that, I'm not interested.
  13. May we have an update on when this watch will be out and whether or not it will be offered with the Swiss movement?
  14. That's a great watch. I purchased one a month or so back and I find nothing wrong with it. As they say, if you want a gen, then buy a gen. I prefer these types of watches over the chonographs simply because I enjoy the elegance of it. Same goes for the Patek Nautilus, et al. Most of the gens I have are backed up by replicas. I do because if I f**k up my replica Nautilus then I do, but, if I do the same with the gen one then I would be rather upset. Like women say, mix the good jewelry with the not so good. Few, if any can tell the difference anyhow. Buy it, enjoy it, move on.........
