  3. That's sort of a rough pad. You can get finer pads and get better results. In the US you can get them at Home Depot, Lowe's, or any of the finer wood working supply houses. One item you can get at the wood working stores is sand paper that is extremely fine. The grit can go up to 12000 (no kidding!). They are made of fabric with a grit finish on one side. The problem with the higher numbered pads is that you can get a high polish finish, so you need to be careful and start out with the lowest grit. They come in packets of about 12. Those work great. I can give you can example of the micro sand paper and what it can do by going to this site and reading what was done to get from A to Z. www.k4tjp.net/autc.html Tim
  4. About all I'd have to say about that is OMG! What's that boy's problem anyhow. No, never mind, I really don't want to go there. Wow...........

  6. Somewhat strange to me that all these people are requesting the PP Jumbo, but, yet, all the dealers tell me that no one wants Patek. And concerning the Jumbo, they think the Nautilus is ugly. Hmmmm............ Well, I'm waiting for Neil to tell me when, how much, and where to send the funds. Shoot, I've been waiting for this critter since before I was born. Tim
  7. I like that. That's really sweet.
  8. I wrote and asked him if I could buy two other wise I had no interest.... :-)
  9. You're being pathetic. When and who cut your balls off, dude? Good god................
  10. Hmmm, he said he was going to contact me and I never heard one word. Could be that he couldn't get the PP Jumbo. Dunno. I'm a bit disappointed in this.
  11. Andrew told me they needed a minimum of 1K
  12. Me either and I wrote Neil asking what the status is, was, will be. It does seem as if some have purchased "something", but, not sure what.
  13. Old telegraph related items. This one is from about 1865/1875. My Harley. I ride it all over the US. Kick ass times. Tim
  14. Well, I said I would send along a photo of my son's gen. Sorry he isn't all that great on taking photos. You really can't tell much. Tim
  15. I wanted the Erdal, but, that was a bit over the top for me. :-)
  16. Here's a Jones watch that toury made for me. Look close and you can see the differences.
  17. Funny that this subject came up. I agree with everything you wrote and more. I own a Seiko World Time that I purchased in Vietnam in 1966. Works like a charm. Needless-to-say, it has a mechanical movement. I don't wear it often these days, but, once in a while I'll pull it out for old time sake and wear it. Amazing how many people comment on it. They recently came out with some very, very, very high end mechanical movement watches that cost somewhere around 3500USD. They make an excellent watch. For that fact, Timex makes an excellent watch, too. My beater watch is a 1998 all stainless (band, too) Ironman. It commemorated the 25 anniv. of the Ironman contest. And, you know something, I have not put a battery in it yet! I have no idea how this thing keeps going.
  18. Got an IWC AMG this morning. Pretty much DOA. Only losing about 30 minutes in an hour. That aside, the functions don't work either. But, it looks good! Hahaha!
  19. Yes, it does double sided coating. Also, concerning the bracelet, it's the same but different at where it attaches to the watch. My son has one of these (real) and I'll ask him to send some photos to me and post them. Tim
  20. For what you could sell them for you could get a half decent Timex. Go for it, Dude!
  21. I would strongly suggest TimeZone. Massey isn't exactly a friendly guy.
  22. Interesting question, but, there's no clear definitive answer to that. Do you have an opinion on whether or not there's a god, or, gods? Well, that's your opinion and someone else may, or, may not, agree with you. In the end, and I mean the REAL end [dead], we, as individuals, will finally have the answer to that question. To date no one has been able to come back from the dead to give us an answer. The actual answer to this is whatever makes you comfortable is okay. I do know one fact about religion, and it's a widely known stat: More people have died in the name of religion and God than in any war man has ever engaged in and fought. What's that tell you about religion and God?
