  1. My wife had breast cancer 6 years ago. They caught it very early and it appears as if she is cancer free. Yippee! I hope yours is as fortunate. All the best to both of you. Think positively. Tim
  2. Got sick as hell a couple of weeks ago and quit because of it, not because I wanted to quit. So far, so good. I wish us luck and good health. Tim
  3. I got laid this morning.
  4. "Tim" is good. The K4TJP is an FCC license. I couldn't think of anything else. The 28277 I had before was my friggin' zip code. I'm not very imaginative.
  5. I totally agree with this. I have many Asian born friends and business clients and they don't go by western names. That always seemed strange to me that any of them would use anything other than their given names. If your Chen, then so be, and that's how I will address you. I owe you that degree of respect. Tim
  6. I don't believe this personal email has any bearing on the subject. I would have been very uncomfortable posting this. Tim
  7. I hit # 2. Seems fair enough to me.
  8. Glad your happy with them. Nice work, but, a touch over the top for me. I appreciate the information. Tim
  9. How does that Ebel work for you? I've been reluctant to buy a Daytona for years because of the movement. Hate to be this forward about it, but, what does that movement cost? Tim
  10. Dude, you have a large set of brass balls.
  11. To each his own. I raced MotoX for 8 years so don't tell me a thing about being afraid, or, risk. I will tell you what I see on the Interstate that's about 4 miles from my home. At least 2 young people die every month on that highway and everyone of them were riding crotch rocket at a VERY high rate of speed. Morons. I've been riding bikes, Harley's and BMW's, for 41 years now and you can't tell me anything new. Been there, done it. I crank out about 15 to 18 thousand miles a year on my bikes.
  12. Glad you like them. I call them Crotch Rockets and they kill people, mostly those between 18 and 35. Companies that make them call them Sport Bikes. That's an oxymoron. Buy yourself a nice BMW or a Harley.
  13. Yes, there is. Every looked closely at Geo. W. Bush?
  14. That's a SWEET watch. I did the same thing you did and got it from River when his pricing was rock bottom. Mine has the blue face. I was so impressed by its accuracy that I went back and bought his last one (I think) for my son. It's going to be a Christmas present. He's always wanted a Panerai and for the money I couldn't NOT buy two. Hell of a deal at $189.00 shipped EMS. Tim
  15. It's a well known fact that the only virgins are ugly 4-year-olds........
  16. Balize
  17. It's as close to accurate as history can make it, but, they missed one small thing. In the end it wouldn't have made one bit of difference, but, the 300 was actually 1300. The 300 were a fighting force to be dealth with, but, there were 1000 others there who were suppose to come into the battle when needed. They did come into it, but, like the 300 they were wiped out too. Sort of a trivia thing, I guess.
  18. He's been rather ill lately. He's just getting back on his feet. No point in me, or, anyone else who knows him, going into details on it. Cut him some slack for the time being.
  19. Yep. Not a problem in the world. Came on Monday to the US.
  20. That's VERY cool! He certainly stepped up to the top of the list with that move. Impressive.
  21. I typed in translucent watch in Google and Target (US company) popped up. They have them for $12.99 each. :-)
  22. I had "somewhat" the SAME results with the SAME watch from XXXXX. Mine tells time for however long it feels like telling time, and then out of the blue it decides to lose 30 minutes in an hour. Nice looking watch, but, the movements a total POS. Me buy a chrono again? Not in my life time, hell no!
  23. Many years ago I started a forum that is about the same size as this one on a topic not relating to watches. I tried to do exactly what you suggested I had a revolution on my hands. What they were saying is that 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it, Tim.' Fair enough and I forever backed off sharing the reigns. I was trying to give everyone a chance at adding their own influence, thinking that it might make it better and stronger. I WAS WRONG. People like things the way they are - PERIOD.
  24. I knew a woman like that a LONG time ago. Weird woman and I didn't stay around. Too f**ked up for me.
