Hey Eric, which watch shop did you go to? And are you very sure it's a WM9/TC? Hmm does it mean that the watch shop got conned by the previous owner or the watch shop themselves sell it on purpose? Because usually 2nd hand watch shops in HK sell 100% gens it's pretty impossible for them to sell reps or they would go out of business instantly

Is this IW356405 blue portofino an accurate rep? I'm a beginner in IWC reps, and am not very sure..the only models which I know are accurate are like mark16,17, and the laureus ingeneur for good foundation. What are the currently most accurate portofinos and portugeses? thanks!

Thanks for the info legendkiller! For 3-4k, I'd rather save a little more and buy a gen SUB, or just get a used AP..idk but I think if frankening for more than 3k isn't worth it, might as well go gen

Hi guys, First post here, joined RWG since December and has been reading and following here daily After researching and reading about the Super reps available (111,243, BK/TC Sub, Diver 3.5 etc) I decided to pull the trigger on the PAM111 Noob V3. Was hesitating which TD to get it from, as there's a chinese site which sells the V3 111 with Y-Incabloc mod for a little more but I figured to just get one without any mods and then send it for mod and service several months later if I really do need it. So I ordered from Ryan at intime.co yesterday, made the payment via WU and got the QC pics on the same day. Ryan is quite easy to deal with and replying my emails pretty fast. Btw, its my 1st rep purchase so I'm not really good at the QC pictures (catching any problems) and would really appreciate it if you guys give me your comments and feedback! Thanks guys, I think that it is just better off to upgrade the incabloc shock protection system since it isn't expensive and I might as well just go with it when getting a new 111. Would it cause any damages to the watch as in making it less accurate etc? Or it is just purely a cosmetic touch up.
