  1. Thanks for the pic , that rubber band is so nice and perfectly match the watch. This kinds of review will make people spend money
  2. what kinds of review is it? So DAMN GOOD Can you post a shot to show the whole Diver Strap ? thx
  3. That is a very nice lume shot
  4. Ferrari should be on the list..........Most accurate Reps 2007 !!
  5. 5513 I want to see more of it cuz i got one coming soon, shall we ?
  6. I know this may rather easy to say than done but in addition to the current The Zigmeister's review (which is wonderful), I suggest we set up a "Special Technical Inspection Board " which only focus on Movement. Such review section is closely held by high honor, experience members who have extensive knowledge about watch movement. We randomly inspect the movement in the watch from time to time and post the result on the board to make sure it is what it is. Once a faulty movement has discover by the STIB member they will give the dealer a short period of time to explain the problem and come up some solution as well as compensation to the buyer. At the same time they will also post a Warning on the forum front page to alert the members to stop buying such Model until everything is clear.
  7. I'm very late to this hobby and probably not qualify to common the changing climate you guys see from the old days. My guess is the rep business has rapidly growth in the past year or 2 due to internet sale and technology.... the relationship between members and some dealers has start to change from watch enthusiasts oriented to strictly BUSINESS. Tell me if I wrong but I think it is pretty typical what happen on almost any type of start up business once they expand quickly in a short term? The environment is different and no doubt there has some big changed on the Supply side and I think we as a consumer (Demand side) also need to change as well. We need to level the playing field. I wish what happen today is just a bump for everyone, if we can convince our dealers to face the issue and correct it. This will be win-win situation for all of us.
  8. May be I shouldn't use the word "honest" on omeega but if you read what TeeJay found you will understand why I react that way. Never mean to be offensive.
  9. @omeega... please be honest when you post any "complaint" and don't try to get a free ride with the ongoing storm. We already spend tons of energy to try to regulate our dealers' behavior and we need every bit of honestly from our members to do that. @TeeJay, thanks for the work.
  10. I just try it on my u.Po. It has resistance when I wind it clockwise but feel more freely (and with constance click sound) when i turn it counter-clockwise. Pretty much just like you describe and my U.PO has been examined to ensure Swiss eta inside. hope that help
  11. AFAIK, there's only 1 case can be found so far and it could be by accident since many members reported they got Swiss eta inside. We need more sample to built a case and I think each case should based on specific "Movement" that listed on dealers' website and not just the watch model.
  12. What happen to our dealers here has nothing to do with how much the Chinese worker make in China. Please stay in course and focusing on the real problem.
  13. It is good to know it was NOT a set up. The Zigmeister, I'm so sorry to see this thing happened. Some people think they can get a free ride and take advantage from your review.
  14. Good job on the discovery guys!! Since the storm start I can sense more and more members will open their watches and check to see what they really got inside. This type of Misrepresenting is getting scary and worst than imagine if a few more case (on different model) like this keep being discover. In this case here.... someone want to buy a 45mmPO but the price of ETA one is too high which he/she cannot afford it. Then he see a cheaper version being offer (if I'm right, only TWO dealers has the lite version) but equipped with "Asian COPY of eta 2824". At first the buyer has doubt about this copy movement, he go to do some homework and read The Zigmeister's review about the exact movement he see on dealers' website which give him more confident about it as a result he/she order the Lite version PO Like another member just mentioned.....where did The Zigmeister get that "real" Asian copy 2424"? I hope it wasn't sent by any dealers and try to use some of our most honor member(s) to cheat on buyers. We need to propose a complete reformation in the rep community before all the bad tactic spread like cancer.
  15. I got a pretty bad feeling about this if this is true. Why? which means some of the high profile, well known member(s) will always get a watch with better quality in case they will post a "review" about the product. *** I have no evidence to proof that or try to create a new storm, nothing more than my curiosity ***
  16. 50+ hrs? you sure they are not quartz? (j/k) Seriously, it is good to hear those asian movement is not as bad as some people think. how come no one create a thread like " who got the longest power reserve in their watch ?"
  17. Speaking of Ferrari...........anyone see this Enzo I think this guy better just buy a Ferrari watch than drive one. Neil, sorry for the off-topic post
  18. 330USD? in these day... it will be tough sale for sure
  19. for the HE valve, I will try to get another one from Josh. EDIT: sorry, I have to take back my common cuz I don't know the 3 o clock marker is not "suppose" to be there.
  20. I will try to contact the dealer who sold you the watch.
  21. I'm glad i took it to the local watchsmith.......with all the tools they got, they were surprises how tough these bracelet is. please listen to the experience member.....either get the right tools or the right person to do it.
