  1. The relevance is your budget and your pocketbook. The SFSO swiss rep is an excellent watch with a superior build to it. However, after having many of these pass through my hands you cannot overlook the fact that these are built in back street sweatshops. I have gotten movements that grind when you rotate the crown. Date wheels that do not turn, or if they do they turn at the wrong time. Crowns that pull of, or strip the threads on the tube. The price is great for the amount of watch you get, but face the fact for $2000 you can have a perfect watch backed by a warranty and a company that stands behind them. I own both the rep and the gen. I have to say that side by side you really have to look close at the watch to tell. The question is how much are you willing to spend? $360 for a watch that might at anytime breakdown, or $2000 on something that will last longer than your life. Movement wise it is like comparing a gremlin to a Shelby Mustang GT500. No comparison.
  2. Try TTK. He has many wonderful watches. His subs and mbws are legendary.
  3. Glad to see a bunch here from the camp of no winders. I have 50+ reps and i never, NEVER machine wind them. put it on my wrist and after about ten minutes or wristtime, I adjust all the other gadgets.
  4. I have purchased many watches from Andrew using my cc. Never a problem. Has my identity been stolen? That I cannot say.
  5. Tracking numbers are a means of creating anxiety and thus elevating blood pressure. I never use them anymore. All the dealers on this forum are reputable. Just relax, give it time, your package will appear.
  6. My new overseas. I thought about selling this one, but I fell in love with it. Suppose to go out to vaccum for ar treatment, but i cannot take it off my wrist.
  7. Hello. This watch is swiss eta 2836-2 movement. @sql_pl As usually great pictures, and I am glad that Ola loves her watch. I have another entire bracelet coming to you
  8. Actually the price of this strap is not as expensive as one might think. $25.00 dollars I believe. I ordered one for my Chopard after seeing D4M's post. The strap can be found at the link below. Cheers, TWP International Watchman
  9. Ahh the ole german wrist daggers by aeromatic. I have several tauchmeisters along the same size. I have a tendency to wear these around my thighs.
  10. These watches come with an unusually load rotor. There are two ways you can correct this noise, yes it is load you can hear it making revolutions and moving on your wrist, put a gasket into the case and grease the rotor. An effective an cheap means to silence this watch.
  11. I would recommend going to local bookstore and buying the 2007 Watch Annual. 400 pages of watch porn. I look at mine almost everynight.
  12. The very first panerai i bought came from Torneau in Caesars palace. Last time i went i spent five hours just looking and drooling over watches. Four hours and fifty nine minutes of that time was spent getting damn sales reps off my back, but hey it was worth it. My wife and I are returning to Vegas in October, she told me last week. I have been thumbing through the Wristwatch Annual ever since. Any one have any recommendations for a watch up to $6000? I am considering a 112 if they have one.
  13. @gunnar those a pretty funny pictures man. @chris I like you selection. I own an orange dial doxa myself. I have been very pleased with it. A few months ago i almost (impulse) purchased an orange dial tutima. Glad that i didn't. Nice selection. Cheers TWP
  14. I like everyones choices here. But if the dimensions are small enough than no one has suggested that you can go with a mans watch. A client of mine recently did this. Think about this one for your lady. You will find many collectors that stock this watch, andrew and josh both have it, but i am sure Ruby can get it for you and her price is more competetive. So you might want to pm her. The size is 39mm i believe off the top of my head. Here are pictures showing two differenct versions. Again, you might want to try Ruby. Enjoy
  15. I have been very pleased with both of mine
  16. TTK... I told you next door that it was me..no damnit that was for those great knives that you were offering. Do you have anymore of those?
  17. Only if the plastic is really sticking to the watch
  18. Hey DJ is that really you? If so, i love your music
  19. i would be more than happy to sell you a Breguet Tourbillon then, a working tourbillon. High MRSP so you should like that
  20. They do not call it the big bang for nothing. I like to use mine for a toy. Besides a little bit of juice is good for watches. Keeps them running good.
  21. Now you need to get in the water with it and go diving. Thanks
  22. I got excited when i saw the word pink Glad you are enjoying your watch.
