Looking better and better, Chris. Your pioneering work will surely serve as an inspiration for those unhapy with the fixed lug problem and not desirous of wearing a riveted strap. As for it coming loose, I don't see why it should - unless you're doing something like banging on a cowbell for eight hours a day..... But you still need the definitive stap, my boy :-)

That is a lovely watch. Beautiful off-yellow lume, rounded CGs, silky finish.....hints of both vintage and modern ....needs a special strap though: something thick and natural to offset the fluidity and sophistication of the design. Very impressive work by Davidsen.... Tempted to get one for myself.....

It's been a while since we've hoisted a few together, and since we all probably have some new stories and watches to share, I'm wondering how many of the Paris members would be interested in getting together this Saturday afternoon (the 14th - wow, how time flies!) for a few hours. As you probably know, there's a slight possibility of Slay coming around - I say slight because the poor guy is coming over for just one day for a friend's anniversary and it's probably going to be hard for him to find the time to spend with us.... So - given all the above, who's up for a meeting at around 4pm - 6 or 7pm (or another time-frame)?

Arrrghh! Could it be that my '45mm' Russian Vintage 2533 (it's NOT a 3646) is really 47mm? My hands are trembling too much to measure it - my eyesight is going too.... I swear that it's the same size as my WM California, which was sold to me as a 45mm..... Who and what to believe? Oh the Humanity! Update: I found the courage to measure the case (excluding the crown) and it's definately 45mm..... So what do you make of THAT, Topic?!
