  1. QC pics on Trusty Time for their "Supreme" Version
  2. I take that back now, Trusty Time just released "Supreme" version. No QC pics or video but the bezel numbers seem to be engraved now and the lume is correct. http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=11079 Can anyone pitch in on this?
  3. They havent really put a good effort into these yet. Bezel numbers seemed to be painted not engraved and not thick enough either. Id wait for a better version. InTime has better photos on their website.
  4. Anyone reckon the space between the A and the P is too big/visible?

  6. Appreciate the clarification and input guys
  7. So I understand there are rumors about a better version of the 15400 Royal Oak that fixes the polished rehaut issue and perhaps a better rotor on a Miyota movement that Angus is involved with. Is this new version suppose to be out soon? IMHO, Im happy with the current version and possibly pulling the trigger and modding the rehaut myself. Are there that many issues with the current version that the wait for the new version is worth it? Cheers in advance for any input.
  8. I think its pretty obvious on RM reps, you cant even see the gears its just a flat plate if you watch the Trusty Time video. I think some other models show the movement which make it a better rep but personally its a no go for me.
  9. Dial construction is not very gen like, I have no idea about the reliability of the movement. Richard Mille do not make their own movements, but they have them ordered with custom specifications and given that most of their models have skeleton dials that expose the movement, that is the biggest tell on the Rep Milles. Gen RM Le Mans Rep RM Le Mans http://vimeo.com/70542613 Just my 2 cents, if a factory can produce a gen like Bubba Watson RM I would be on it in a second but custom movements and skeleton dials make it hard to replicate I reckon.
  10. Excellent review! Happy to say that I am now ready to purchase this rep!
  11. Never mind, i think i got it, the 1's are referring to the bezel 1's correct?
  12. Im so confused on what "1's" people are talking about. I was about to pull the trigger on the white dial until stumbling onto all this.
  13. Might pull the trigger on the Hulk V2 once I see non studio photographs but will probably wait for proper reviews. Quite excited though.
  14. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/158312-super-reps-for-2013/?hl=+super%20+rep Have a look here, there are plenty of"super" reps outside Rollies and Pams JLC Navy Seals Diver is possible my next purchase or a Audemars Diver. Hope that was helpful
  15. Almost called out this guy at the lounge we were at the other night but didnt want to embarrass him. He was going on about a deal he closed and was showing off his "present to himself", a terrible sub c that was oversized to at least 44mm and had polished middle links. All I said to him was, "Oh you got the big face one?" And he quoted Jay Z... "Big face Rollie, I got two of those ah-ha!" I just sculled my drink and left Thought I post in this thread to see if anyone else had some new stories
  16. Look at the Omega logo, the two "feet" that stick out should be flat. "Happy feet" refers to Omega logos where those two feet kind of flick up. This is Happy Feet No Happy Feet
  17. Could not have been said better. I have just joined this community and the rep game and I am becoming more and more fascinated with the engineering behind making watches, both rep and gen. I have friends who own multiple gens and are not true watch lovers, they love the status symbol but have no idea about the history or functionality behind the tens of thousands of dollars on their wrists. I joined the forum looking for the best sub, like half the people here, and within the past few weeks I've become intrigued with types of factories, types of movements, choices of materials, or if I should source a gen LV bezel for my soon to be ordered TC sub, or will a clark insert do me fine? I really became in love with watches, its like i stepped into a new world and watches are no longer just tools but pieces of art and expression
  18. Better photos on Intime, http://intime.co/product.php?id_product=1214
  19. http://vimeo.com/70539294 Possible new version? Hands look a lot better than the previous version but the link to Trusty Time still takes you back to the old one. Thoughts?
  20. I posted about this watch a few days ago and the consensus was that the one up right now isnt worth it at all. Given you have the craftsmanship to pull that paint job off, it might work. The only thing different is the two tone bezel and the GMT hand color being green. Should get your hands on a gen BLNR GMT since a lot of photos makes it come off a little purple rather than blue. The problem with painting in the blue half of the bezel is the edge it will make when you remove the masking tape, since the paint itself is creating another layer. But if someone can make it work thatll be cool, if not Ill wait for a proper factory version. I love rolexes with a splash of color.
  21. Yeah, but if it was really made from a gen ref, the listed thickness wouldnt be 11mm, itd be 9.8mm or at most 10mm if they were really trying to advocate gen measurements. Not trying to be picky here but I feel like a fraction of a mm might be a big deal in terms of getting a new strap. Just my 2 cents
  22. Yes he is in the US. His most noticeable mod I think is the date wheel.
  23. Yeah the blue does look wrong and bezel insert is wrong but im hoping for QC pics and video to pleasantly surprise me with a quality rep... Not getting my hopes high though
