  1. Thank-you Jkay, the weird thing is, I just looked at my watch again and the bubble I was referring to earlier is gone... Can anyone explain this?
  2. Dropped my PAM 243 on the crystal the other day. The cyclops underneath the crystal seems to have come a little loose as if theres a bubble in between it. Its not that bad but it does bother me. Tried message VAC about it but I guess his inbox is full. I dont think it is a major repair, cyclops just needs to be taken out and reglued. Who should I contact for this quick repair? Im located in upstate NY. Cheers
  3. On the fence of picking this one up... Great looking watch!
  4. Has anyone purchased the Miyota movement version yet? Would love to see some photos
  5. Not gonna find a good one mate, you would want one with a Valjoux movement which means youre better off building one.
  6. Toro has it now too. From their photos, this looks like the best version out as of now.
  7. So on Toro's site is the new Cartier Tank MC. I think it looks quite good, despite the display case back. The textured dial looks good in my opinion. Maybe the CARTIER on the dial isnt as think as it is on the gen? What are your thoughts? Here is the rep http://www.torobravos2013.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=948 And the gen, pictures taken from Hodinkee http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/sneak-peek-a-very-early-look-at-the-cartier-tank-mc-the-new-tank-with-manfacture-movement
  8. I guess it has arrived http://www.pureti.me/product/royal-oak-41mm-15400-11-best-edition-blue-dial-on-ss-bracelet-miyota9015/
  9. Doesn't look bad. I'm not a fan of this particular model though. I do love the SpidoLite and Oktopus models, although will never consider purchasing one, rep or gen. Very contemporary brand, kind of in the same boat as De Bethune and MBandF but maybe not as outrageous with their innovations. It is a very late release for a watch that was released over 4 years ago.
  10. Im hoping for a better Royal Oak, whether a 15400 or 15300. I would love a 15202 Jumbo but the thin movement would be difficult to replicate. Other than that, maybe the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon? Given that it only has subdials at 3 and 9 and date at 6, I feel that it is easier to replicate than the traditional Speedmaster subdial layout. I would like the Black Bay to be back in stock as well. Either way, Im hoping for a great 2014 wish the same for everyone!
  11. Got mine from Trusty, might be selling mine soon so keep an eye out on the sale section.
  12. The main thing I want fixed is the AP logo on the dial with the space in between A and P filled in. From what I can see, the BP dial has this but without proper case dimensions. I will wait patiently for the next one.
  13. Archimede Pilot 42 Bronze at around $700. I just really want a bronze case watch that will patina and age.
  14. I doubt there is high demand for these watches so its going to be tough to find reps of it.
  15. V 4.1 and V5 refer to the AP Offshore Diver, probably one of the best AP reps out there. The only V6 I know of is the Hublot Big Bang. Correct me if Im wrong.
  16. Pretty sure you just missed a sale for an Ingy 3227 by a couple days. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/165827-good-ingy-3227-good/ But no worries, something you like will always come around. Played basketball in a tournament in Hong Kong against military base schools out of Japan when I was in high school. For a military inspired watch, why not have a look at the Jaeger LeCoultre Navy Seals Diver? It's one of the best reps out there today and has a great rugged feel and look to it. Either way, hope you find what you are looking for, welcome to RWG.
  17. I'm a fan of the blue/black GMT-Master II as well as the black dial Explorer II. But I have to say that the PAM297 is a great watch as well. I've never handled the noob factory edition but a friend has the gen on a bracelet and it has fantastic presence on the wrist.
  18. How much does a build like this cost someone? I am really interested in investing in a build just like this one
  19. They are constantly being posted about on Instagram by Watch Anish and other bloggers. They have a strong social media presence and target younger consumers since by higher end watch standards, are not as expensive, I think they range from 1500 USD to $2000. Personally, not a big fan since I have a smaller wrist but for those who like contemporary designs I think its a cool watch to look into.
  20. The pearl diameter is too wide for the hole on the insert. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
  21. Just came in from TC, through on a Clark insert while I source a gen. Love it though!
  22. I just wanted to post my first TC Sub LV Type III. I want to say thank-you to TC and his great work. I am in love with this piece and will have it on my wrist for a while before changing up. I ordered it about a month ago and everything went very smoothly. I put in a Clark bezel insert for now while I source a gen insert. If anyone is on the fence about getting a TC Sub, don't hesitate!
