I tend to agree with Arthur on this, we will always have farms not just for meat but all the by products that we use from animals, there is a line which we will meet in animal welfare and that is humane forms of culling. This is nowhere near what PETA/Vegans want but it is the best they will ever achieve. That said I saw a very interesting video the other day that shows they are now making a material that for all purposes looks and feels just like leather, out of coconuts! Ken

Actually Ezio makes a good point, there are many fine long time members that could have also met the cut, except the guys we chose are not just stellar members but they are also here every day and the number 1 point on a moderators CV is availability. So those seniors that make feel passed over please understand that we in the admin team do regard you all very highly and we are very glad you call RWG home regardless of the number of visits you do per week/month. Some of you may have noticed that I disappeared a couple of days ago. Please accept my apologies but as it happens Wednesday morning I was taken to the emergency dept. of my local hospital in a fair bit of pain. After much poking and prodding (and CT scanning) it was discovered I had a 6mm kidney stone, painful but obviously not life threatening. So anyway I am back now and ready to take your orders. Ken
