  1. I have personally seen instances where a girl in a chat room has tracked down the super copy and then simply offered to sell bags to others on that forum with a bit more added to the cost for her mark up. Ken
  2. Well it would be ryy just think women and shopping Ken
  3. The funny thing I'm seeing here is guy's trying to reason these prices in the same way many members wives and girl friends do with our watches. Ken
  4. A birkin if you could buy it over the counter is something like 18K. And slay it's far to easy to pick one bag and say all bags are over priced, I can get a rep of a VC Malte ($45,000 gen) for the same price as a rep of a non chrono seamaster. Ken
  5. And neither are the bags, sash's Birkin is only a fraction of the cost of the gen. Ken
  6. There's some oldies but still enough to make me laugh Ken
  7. Yes but again you're missing a key point. I agree that brand name bags would not cost a lot more than a quality generic brand bag (they will cost more) but you are buying the brand the exact same way we do with our watches, yes even with our rep watches. Ken
  8. @insane and @vmena you guy's need to understand that the bags that sash and I sell are in fact priced (in many occassions) less than 10% of original. Take a look at sash's Chloe Paddington for instance they gen is worth over $1600 Yes you can get many generic bags or even minor branded bags for for only a couple of hundred but when you start talking about LV, Chloe, Hermes you are getting up in the thousands, what makes a leather bag worth that much..............hey what makes a Rolex worth $7,000..............brand name. Ken
  9. How many dollars are we talking about here Eddie? Ken
  10. As sash has just pointed out he has bags under $250, some (if I remember correctly) as low as $100. Myself I have Coco Chanel for only $65 and a coach for $85, it needs to be remember that we buy these bags and have to pay for shipping to our homes then when we sell we have to also pay for the shipping to the buyer and we eat these cost's so that you the customer can buy quality bags from the comfort of your own home. Ken
  11. 17 Pages Just wondering how long it will take for everyone to reach a concensus here, might be a good idea to pool all the top picks and make a poll and then take the top three and poll them again, at least then you will have an idea if we will get the numbers to do this build. Ken
  12. And guy's, we aim to keep it that way Ken
  13. Aww shucks guy's And T I told you I was going after that PO Ken
  14. Ok I'm a little shell shocked here, to win not once but twice is just incredible. However it's the PO chrono I wanted and now it's mine I have no hesitation in telling everyone that I will be giving the 6 Month membership away in a soon to be announced competition........I just need to think one up.......suggestions would be helpful Thanks Pure Time for sponsoring the watch and thanks RWG for being the best rep board on the planet. Ken
  15. I just want to say congratulations to everyone who entered designs, some truely stunning entries are here for PT to choose from. Ken
  16. And to you robi although mine would be scotch and dry and not at this time of the morning either Ken
  17. We are sitting in rep heaven anyone who goes off and buy's from a scam site he/she finds in the google ads basically gets what they deserve. I'm a mod and as such you will never be able to see that I am also a supporter but I have an automatic Monthly renewal, that's 60 bucks a year! I do this because I love this place and want to see it keep going from strength to strength, others may not feel the same way but it is really a bit much when they try to justify not paying a supporter fee. 18. In ancient Israel, it came to pass that a trader by the name of Abraham Com did take unto himself a young wife by the name of Dot. And Dot Com was a comely woman, broad of shoulder and long of leg. Indeed, she had been called Amazon Dot Com. And she said unto Abraham, her husband, "Why dost thou travel far from town to town with thy goods when thou can trade without ever leaving thy tent?" And Abraham did look at her as though she were several saddle bags short of a camel load, but simply said, "How, dear?" And Dot replied, "I will place drums in all the towns and drums in between to send messages saying what you have for sale and they will reply telling you which hath the best price. And the sale can be made on the drums and delivery made by Uriah's Pony Stable (UPS)." Abraham thought long and decided he would let Dot have her way with the drums. And the drums rang out and were an immediate success. Abraham sold all the goods he had at the top price, without ever moving from his tent. But this success did arouse envy. A man named Maccabia did secrete (look it up, it means to hide) himself inside Abraham's drum and was accused of insider trading. And the young men did take to Dot Com's trading as doth the greedy horsefly take to camel dung. They were called Nomadic Ecclesiastical Rich Dominican Siderites, or NERDS for short. And lo, the land was so feverish with joy at the new riches and the deafening sound of drums that no one noticed that the real riches were going to the drum maker, one Brother William of Gates, who bought up every drum company in the land. And indeed did insist on making drums that would work only with Brother Gates' drumheads and drumsticks. And Dot did say, "Oh, Abraham, what we have started is being taken over by others." And as Abraham looked out over the Bay of Ezekiel, or eBay as it came to be known, he said, "We need a name that reflects what we are." And Dot replied, "Young Ambitious Hebrew Owner Operators." "YAHOO," said Abraham. And that is how it all began. Truly...

  21. Agreed ryy, I have steered clear of this thread as the is no way I could possibly pick 5 without leaving off some big names on my list but I got to admit Bob would be way up there. Ken
  22. Yes we (the Admin team) move post's, this is primarily done because the orginal post was entered in the wrong forum, in an ideal word nobody would post in the wrong forum however we do recognise that this does happen by mistake from time to time and to that end Thomas has informed us he is going to add a feature in the near future where when a post is moved or deleted an automatic PM goes out to the topic starter.
