  1. Now let me start by saying that I love the new 6.75 Big Date. It's a very solid watch and gets alot of wrist time since I got it last week. The 1 sided AR isn't bad, better than I thought actually. Now I have a POS $37 Bentley that I picked up. It's terrible. The B on the second hand is back wards lol typical non-functional chrono's with the day of the week etc.... But it has HEAVY double AR. How can they put such an AR on such a bad rep, yet struggle so much with putting AR on the Breitling's that are near perfect otherwise?
  2. Super Avenger this afternoon Tonight will be the 202
  3. Well, just as I thought..... now that the 6.75 Big Date is here, the Super Avenger (Originally from Ruby, with the CORRECT pearl ) will be most likely going bye-bye in favor probably of a new Pam.
  4. Love mine, but I'm afraid it wont get any wrist time when my Bentley Big Date gets here Monday
  5. Heading out with the Fiddy tonight
  6. I don't care what people look like. It's the other stuff that would make me figure on rep vs. gen. Like is he driving a BMW, MB, Corvette or any other nice vehicle and not a late 80's CRX or Fiero LOL. Also do they work in entertainment field and dress how they want, or do they work at a gas station and that's the best clothes they have. On a side note... I know for a fact that a large deal of celebrities and people with large amounts of cash (musicians, pro athletes etc) own a fair share of reps to go along with their gens.
  7. I've met more people with tattoos that own multiple gens than I have people without tattoos that on ANY gens. I think for people to think that what someone does to their body, reflects on their financial worth these days is retarded. By what I've read in this thread, it seems that if anyone here had seen me in person, most I imagine would not only never believe what I do for a living based off how I look, they also wouldn't believe I spend my free time and thousands of dollars buying watches. lol Just because someone is heavily tattooed doesn't equal lack of money or taste in material things.
  8. I'd say that's true to an extent... if you're driving around town in a Datsun then definitely rep I had a guy in a Rollie say "nice watch" and roll his eyes at me one day as we were both leaving the store at the same time... I was wearing my Fiddy along with a pair of baggy shorts and Chuck Taylors lol. Ended up that his Honda Accord was parked next to my 745Li and when I was getting in he said "sorry, I just figured,,, well, you know... I'm sorry. Really is a great watch, wish I could afford one." LMFAO
  9. I have both arms completely sleeved. And own over 40 watches.
  10. Bidders on that bought it not so much for the watch I'm sure, but for the prop factor and who wore it. I doubt it will see any wrist time. The same people sold a shirt that was wore in the Rocky Balboa movie that went for more than that watch.
  11. They're actually a very legit and well respected movie prop house out of LA. They have many contracts to purchase bulk props from many different studios. And FWIW Hollywood has been using reps for years in movie production.
  12. I like! Where did you get it?
  13. We just got rid of our snow... had 81 degrees last week, and forecast says snow for tomorrow. WTF I just put my Asanti's back on now and now I'll have to wait to drive the car. 5 in is sweet. Dish on the Asanti's in 5 3/4 in the rear 3 1/3 chrome in the front. Make sure to take pics, I'd love to see them when they're on!
