  1. Look on the Trusted Dealers section for a dealer, to see if they have the watch you would like, if not, then the chances are that has not been rep'd or isn't available. The Breitling Navitimers all have the sunken date wheel issue or they sacrifice the functionality of one of the chromo registers. You could also try posting an actual picture of the watch.
  2. The last time I checked the Bentley Motors and 6.75 are all no longer in production. I think the GT is still available with a White face from Trustytime. You might be able to pick one up on the Member 2 Member section of this forum or one of the other forums but they don't come up that often.
  3. Andrew has supplied parts for me recently for a watch I bought from him. The key thing is if you've bought the watch from them they seem more willing to help. Cheers Mark
  4. Oh no. Have you tried the dealer where you bought the watch from first? They're usually the first port of call and helpful. Failing that, if you've got another watch you'd like, you could try Angus @ Puretime, he will try to source the part as long as you buy another watch from him, which seems fair. Cheers Mark
  5. I think the Omega clasp, both Gen and Rep is awful. Its a really bad design and pivots around on the strap, I've got a Gen and a Rep and they both do it, so you end up with the tail of the strap poking out from underneath the side of the clasp, they should have put another support just before the hinge on the clasp to hold the tail of the strap in place. I bought a Blue one with white stitching from Trusty for my PO Goodplanet.
  6. Looked at the Gen tonight in my local "Omega Boutique", that one looks very nice.
  7. Yes and I hope he's not seen this thread as my Phone autocorrected his name and called him Nicky.
  8. Hi, His site was up a couple of days ago but have just checked and its down for some reason. Trusty tends to sell BP factory Omega's which aren't necessarily the best but if you're looking for a specific watch, sometimes you have no choice other than to go for a BP. There are other dealers, everyone has their favourite, some aren't Trusted Dealers (TD) on this forum but are on others and vice versa. Try Augus at Puretime (TD here) or Ryan at Intime (Not a TD here) Popular consensus is that the Noob seems to be the best PO rep out of the box, but I've just bought AT/V6 42mm PO from Ryan and its a nice watch, yes its got the Miyota movement in it, but it still tells the right time, which is all you really need. Pick a model, do your research and good luck. Cheers Mark
  9. Hi MarkieMark, How you doing? I dropped him a mail but he said they were out of stock and I'm getting conflicting info from other dealers so wondered whether anyone had ordered one very recently. Regards Mark
  10. Hi, Does anyone know if the Mark XVI with a Black face is still available? Thanks
  11. There isn't a rep of this that I'm aware of. The Navitimer isn't the best rep out there due to the well documented sunken date wheel issue, some of the later ones don't have sunken date wheels because they sacrifice the functionality of some of the sub registers. I've got a few gen Navitimers and while the reps are better than they were, you can always tell.
  12. I would have thought any discount code would be given to an individual and the usage tracked by billing.
  13. Ask Andrew, he should be able to source one from the factory, but be prepared, they're not cheap, the ceramic version is $65 a go and that's just for the bezel insert alone. Depending on your location or technical skill you could either send it to Micky (SSTEEL) or do it yourself.
  14. Price dependant, I would definitely buy it and restore it. I remember not that long ago buying a Flightmaster 910 instead of a bullhead, the bullheads are now silly money and very collectible.
  15. +1 I think it's the nicest out of the 4. Hopefully someone will do a decent rep of at least one of them, but given the choice of a rep of Ploprof or the re-edition Speedmaster Mark II with the red/orange dial, the Speedmaster would win.
  16. Contact Nicky alias SSTEEL, he's from the UK but based in Finland. Have tried one UK watchsmith who is rep friendly once but never again. Micky is a nice guy to deal with and good at what he does.
  17. Omega have announced some new Polprofs, see link below. http://www.ablogtowatch.com/omega-seamaster-ploprof-1200m-co-axial-master-chronometer-watch/ Can t believe that one of the factories won't rep at least one of them. I have a Helson Sharkdiver that I may be looking to sell, I've got too many watches at the moment that don't get worn enough, I just haven't worked out which ones I'm going to let go yet, Peter hasn't made any noises about running another batch of SD's so I can understand why someone might want to profit from the scarcity of the watch. They do come up on eBay occasionally. Maybe drop me a PM. Cheers Mark
  18. As mentioned, without pictures, it's difficult to comment. The numbers and line on the bezel on the BP version are painted on with water based paint and last about a week with light wear. The GMT badge on the face should also be raised but isn't . Consider something else, the rep isn't a good one.
  19. The colour still looks off to me, it looks as though it has too much green. The factory strap looks better than the Noob version and the mid case looks slimmer. Hopefully someone will buy one and post some pictures. My Noob version has recently been to Domi so I'm going to stick with it.
  20. Not seen any talk of it on any of the other forums, it seems everybody is waiting for the release of the ROO FC GP. As with all of the other releases it won't be until after CNY. If you want an MH, some of the TDs can still get hold of he Noob version, although it's in limited supply, but again most of the TDs are winding down for CNY.
  21. I was looking for a Steel one with probably a white face, just wanted to see how it looks in the flesh and how bad the sunken date wheel actually is. It's to replace a genuine Chrono-matic that I always regret selling some years ago.
  22. Ezio, To further endorse what AJ is saying, Matej is excellent, he re-lumed my DSSD via AJ (thanks again AJ) and has done my SA as well. Regards Mark
  23. I'd love one of these too, but the version with the red/orange markers on the dial. I've been looking for a while but come up blank.
  24. About 3 months ago, I would have been the first to jump to TT/Andrews defence, but of late something's changed and I ordered 2 watches that bore no resemblance to what he showed on his website and I also got the same "nitpicking" comments, it ended with me getting a refund and that insight put me off dealing with him again. There's a lot of good dealers out there, some aren't TDs on here but are still brilliant to deal with and are patient when it goes wrong at the QC stage, Ryan @ Intime to name one. I hope the OP got the watch and is happy with it, from the pictures posted, I don't think he will be, hopefully, he'll come comeback and confirm either way.
