From what I understand the arrow seconds version "noobfish" is no longer available. A while back there was a deal over on RWI at $168usd. I don't like the arrow version as much as the box seconds hand version. Go for the ETA and call it a day :-).. if not the Asian SOSF is exactly the same but with mineral crystal. I sold my asian to WIBBE about 2 months ago.. here's a picture of my "ex" asian:

There are plenty of this watch in blue.. although i'm not so sure about the black dial version. It's an excellent quality rep and very popular among many omega fans (except for me). Try using the search function and see what's out there.. Like i said, i'm not sure i've seen a rep model of the black dial version.. but then again this isn't a favorite watch of mine and i might just be wrong!

that looks like the font is just not correct. like the bezel printer was running out of ink after it printed the "3" and the "1" came out too thin! You could proably get a replacement datewheel.. possibly from one of the dealers here

You doubt that we are all a bunch of Vein A-holes (haha) or that many of us came to the board in search of places that reps can be bought that won't rip you off???????? If you disagree, that's your choice.. but in my 3 years of membership here I'd beg to differ. Just look at the "introduction" sub-forum.. The high majority of most people on the intro sub-forum, have bought or ALMOST bought a rep from a bad source and gotten ripped off. This is a place for knowledge and ultimately I think that is what attracts most of us here to RWG. This is where you learn where to buy, what to buy, from who to buy and how to fix, lume, polish and modify any watch known to man(be it rep or gen)... At least that's why i'm here! Well.... that and i'm like a crackhead addicted to all the wristshots here! Now,on the other hand if you mistook my describing why people are attracted to THIS SPECIFIC BOARD.. for describing why people are attracted to reps.. then you misread my comment

looks a lot better on your wrist than i would've imagined.. my wrist is only 6.25.. so it's out of the question.. plus i love my Skyland Avenger Blacksteel. p.s. Aren't both versions referred to as SABS??? (Skyland Avenger Blacksteel, vs. SUPER Avenger Blacksteel)????

we're just a bunch of vein a-holes that can't afford good watches, and instead try to pull off looking like we can by buying reps... what can we say? I was being facetius.. but this topic has been discussed many times over on the forum.. and across the board there are varied responses. Again, in general, I would say that most of us came to the board without much more than trying to figure out how NOT to get ripped off.. Little by little.. we fall in love with the hobby and many of us begin to appreciate the art of it all..

never happened to me either.. I can't imagine anyone taking your watch and rep or GEN alike.. I'm just telling you what Bikemike has witnessed. Apparently it happened in the states too! there was quite a discussion about it here: Wintessed an idiot bring a rep into an AD

The general consensus here will be to TAKE IT OFF BEFORE entering.. but there's always those (like me for example) that have had experiences of wearing reps in ADs and end up getting treated like royalty.(it was a huge mistake of mine.. although it did turn out really well) On the other hand, there are those that have worn or seen people wear reps into ADs and get their reps taken. I think Bikemike saw a situation where the dealer laughed at the customer.. took the customer's watch and then threw it away into a box reserved for confiscating reps.. It all depends! p.s. If i chose another route.. what dealers could sell me an 005 dial? I could possibly get an 005 dial and drop it into a 111 with modded brushed case or an 005 modded case.. the 172 looks great also... would an 005 dial fit the above cases?

possibly... i have 3 watches with Francisco.. and am going to send him a PM.. Hi-jack might brush cases.. but i'm sure francisco will know. I'll keep you guys updated

or maybe buy an 005 and brush it myself.. or have someone brush the case for me while keeping the bezel polished..... who would i contact about that???

Looking for a pam logo watch with seconds, no date display, brushed case with polished bezel. Is there a repped model? I'd love the 005 if it wasn't all polished. The 177 doesn't have the logo but looks killer... what are my options?

I've got a Rep carbon fiber.. and this one looks better. Can we get a side profile shot of the thickness? The rep pam carbon fibers are much too thin, I don't even put mine on it's so embarassing thin in profile. How much did you pay if.. the gen's go for between 200-350usd

Really nice Red.. Simple yet incredibly BEASTLY at the same time. I particularly like the lime green hands! The marine master (is it GMT) power reserve looks incredile with those huge screws and sharktooth bezel.
